Re:Gitlab's Director of Risk and Global Compliance Resigns on Friday November 08, 2019 @12:30PM (#21484525)
Fwiw, GitLab was discussing about a policy not to hire residents of China and Russia for specific job families.

It was never about nationality.

It would be nice to see a metric for performance impact of this blob detection so that gamers with less beefy computers don't have to compromise their gameplay settings to accommodate for this app
Neat idea! Is there a mac version in the works?
GitLab frontend engineer here. Also wanted to add that performance improvement is a big part of our OKRs for our Q3 and are viewable at https://about.gitlab.com/okrs/

Re:Ask HN: What credit card does your US startup use? on Wednesday April 12, 2017 @06:03PM (#14102180)
If you have high expenses and want to leverage a good rebate, I would recommend getting the Alliant Cashback Visa Signature Credit Card.

It offers a 3% cash back off all purchases during your first year and the annual fee ($59) is waived during the first year. 2.5% cash back after the first year.
