As a joke he plays the bass while sound is muted, then gets a claim.
I'm speechless.
Shoutout to Davie504, who let me know about a bunch of bands and performers
The article is much fluff and few concrete facts, probably can be condensed to "Apple strategy is to be a funnel to AI sevices instead of building it's own SOTA model.
It has good reputation on privacy concerns, user apreciation for it's software products and integration, has a toll booth in the app store and it is working on Gemini integration."
No doubt Apple will surf the AI wave, and all of the above are powerfull advantages.
A compelling history to be the chosen way to access AI services will need to offer good sandboxing, secure gatekeeping of credentials, a modern adaptive firewall to control agents communications, skills to access OS services and core applications, and a core agent that can handle all of the previous concerns.
This will be a massive effort. The good news for Apple is that it will not have competition: these needs OS integration, and a comprehensive design.
Excelent read.

Indeed, a very smart compiler would be necessary, perhaps too much for the current compiler art, like the itaniun.
But...how about specializing to problems with inherent paralelism? LLMs maybe?

A direct benefit of using `__all__` at module A is better intellisense while editing files that imports A, if A has a small intended public API and many internal usage symbols.
- More legible than HN, a combo of size and color
- Too much space below short entries ?
- Context menu (rclick) on links hijacked, no 'open in new tab'
The page linked to buy the product say 10 pieces in stock, and 'not recomended for new designs'.
Following the link in that page to manufacturer and then to 'microcontroller units' shows 14 products, all 'not recomended for new designs', except for the ones with zero stock.
Thanks for the submit and for the links above.
Looks interesting for small prototyping, tempted to try.
Wow, Windows / Linux / Mac / Android !
They link to the github repo, python based code, pip instalable; there they mention theres also an npm instalable version.
>I can’t see people paying thousands of dollars per year for maintenance on tools like AD. It makes no sense at all.
I started to use Kicad at v5. Some interesting projects in v4 did not load clean.
v6 was released, it had some problems to load v5 projects. And now v7 seems to not load some v6 projects.
If the AD story for support loading old version projects is good then I think they will do fine.
Wait, wait- Any rule you can spell in a few words or a link?

Kudos to the author.
The readme links to a protocol.md that lives in a private repository, any posibility it gets copied to the github repo?

A list of libraries would be nice.
Also, allow to do a quick squetch, non persistent, without registering.
:( code was in a Mercurial repo at bitbucket, now the repo link gives "Repository unavailable
Bitbucket no longer supports Mercurial repositories."
Besides date ranking, which has been requested, maybe ranking code samples and GH issues on some proxy for code quality? Meaning, I would prefer to see a snippet of django or numpy before some aadwark repo
