Re:How Facebook Avoids Ad Blockers

You gave consent to see ads when you signed up. Why would the presence of an ad blocker withdraw that consent?

According to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzB5xtGGsTc First/business class seats are where the airlines make all of their money, so Concord would be economically viable today.

If Facebook need to answer this question then so do Google, Twitter, Amazon and basically anyone else with a big enough footprint.

You've never been able to opt out of any of the google search algorithm features. I don't see why you we be able to opt out of this one.
Re:Apple's privacy feature costs ad companies millions
on Tuesday January 09, 2018 @10:27AM (#16106796)
I don't necessarily think this is true. Advertisers want to be able to attribute revenue to the types of ads that they show, that way they can spend less money on advertising and focus it on the channels which actually work for them. Cookies are the best way of attributing online ads to online sales.
TL;DR they want effective attribution, not to wreck your browsing experience.
Re:Apple's privacy feature costs ad companies millions
on Tuesday January 09, 2018 @10:23AM (#16106755)
The features in Safari only harms the smaller companies who's domain is not in the visited sites list. the behemoths like Google who always have a first party cookie dont have a problem with the feature and therefore get even more control over online advertising.

A clipboard manager is an absolute have to have.
Having the last 40 or so clibboard items available to me instinctively has increased my productivity and the speed at which i can do anything on a computer.
I use the one that is part of the Alfred power pack, but there are plenty of others out there. https://www.alfredapp.com/help/features/clipboard/

Trying to portray a message of transparency after few years ago being exposed by Snowden for running a non constitutional spying program on all US (and non US) citizens.
I thought the motive for positive publicity from the DoD since that happened would be pretty obvious.
