I am sure an automated report to the chief/captain would solve most of this and making sure that every query/report had an associated case/complaint number too. real crimes attached to real searches.
first - yes, as others have noted, very easy to set this up and I encourage you to try! you could have a mini flock set up for your neighborhood or apartment in no time (not to mention ring cameras - look up the super bowl ad that went south quick).
second - five eyes (i think?) treaties allow tons of mass surveillance, the only rule is that you can't spy on your own country, but trading the data is above board
Is this much different than a doctor/sw/nurse/admin looking up patient records? I know that doctors are not the government, so no 4th amendment rights, but folks in the medical community have the basically the same level of access to much more sensitive information.
also, since there has been a lot of talk of warrantless searches, 4th a, etc.... is there an expectation to privacy when out in public when one would be captured on a flock camera? like red light cameras already exist and some non-sworn pd admin is looking through your file to send you a ticket...
also reading the comments. they didn't even start with rails. It was originally written in Python. Feels like distro hopping. I'd be interesting to see the $$$ value add of moving from Python -> Rails -> TS with React.
I recently re-discovered the existence Choose Your Own Adventure books (
https://www.cyoa.com/) and will be gifting a few to my niece and nephew. I am hoping that it will provide some nice tech-free entertainment.
How did you make those iPhone screenshots? They look great
a couple steps away from a full darth vader helmet which is kinda cool...
Have they made hints of making a mobile version of sc? Are there any similar style games on mobile at the moment? It would seem pretty difficult to move this kind of game to mobile.
Does anyone know the "RPF;ht stands" for? I understand the RPF as Feyman's initials, but curious as to what the ";ht" means.
I am interested in what others think of Educated. I made it 3/4 of the way through and struggled to get that far. The stories seemed very repetitive.
do they cancel your order or take forever to deliver?
exactly this. I was curious to see how much JetSmarter (a private jet ticket coordination service) cost and I get calls/emails from them weekly.

I have recently taken upon the task of organizing my digital life (multiple laptops, Dropbox, external drives) to minimize some digital waste as well as making my digital storage a little more manageable.
How do you name your files/directories to effectively manage...
Be sure to follow up with a post about your ed-tech product. I made educational games for my senior thesis project a while back and I always looking for other people in the sector! P.S. Thanks for the book list, I have added a few to my list for 2019.
How have you been learning Chinese? I am adding learning how to read/speak Mandarin to my 2019 list.
Can't wait until they want to build a new hospital and they are barred from adding a cafeteria.
EPIC Bites and Snack Strips. I have been following a similar diet and these are awesome. Low sugar, too. I recommend the Cracked Black Pepper Venison Strip and the Hickory Smoked Bacon and Pork Bites. I live in Maryland and have been able to find them at both Whole Foods and Giant.

+1 for feel-good Rosie Project. The sequel is nice, too.
I thought they already automatically do this for some shows?
This could be a plot for a future episode of Black Mirror....

What is your peripherals setup?
Not true. Monsanto "donates" seeds to Haiti
adding ads will just make the already slow internet slower. loading content + ads is not good for the customer.
