I wish I thought that far. Nah man, just a fun project I did in 3 days.

Show HN: Play this game to prove your humanity against AI

https://playandsurvive.vercel.app/

Hey everyone! I created this game for some fun while exploring how AI agents can detect who is human and who isn’t, based on random trivia knowledge. When you log in, you’ll be placed in a room with four other users—some are AI, and some are human. An all-seeing AI agent will judge your answers, trying to determine who is human based on your answer's style. The player(s) with the highest score...

Show HN: Open-Source Alternative to Jam.dev

"Learn to love the journey" but I've got a broken nose

Whenever I speak to folks building in the tech space, whether they are indie hackers or venture-backed startup founders, I find the ones who make it say the same thing: "If I knew how hard it would be, I would never have done it." I feel that. You're supposed to enjoy the journey more than the end goal, but what if the path is horrible? For me, I seem to have stumbled into a stubborn mindset....

I've revitalised a repository that enables React Native developers to create spatial computing apps on any device, and I'm eager to continue adding new devices. Currently, I'm collaborating with a part-time co-founder, but we're in need of someone technical to work full-time alongside me. While everyone on the team is technical, I want to shift my focus toward DevRel responsibilities to engage more actively with our community.

The repository is actively maintained. We have a community of 1,600 developers and have an equivalent number of stars on GitHub. I've included a link to the repository in the post.

Our tech stack comprises Objective-C, Java, and JavaScript.

If interested please link your background below and we can begin chatting.

Would great if you're in SF but not a hard requirement.

If anyone wants to DM about how we can improve , please email me here: [email protected]
Yes it is open source! Check out our full github on the link about to explore some of the other tools we're building
We have an Expo starter kit that isn't perfect but does work. Let me know if you experience any ejecting: https://github.com/NativeVision/expo-viro-starter-kit
Thanks and agreed!
Yes! We’re reviving it and pushing forward with building an ecosystem of tools around it.
Yes, exactly the above. Except it doesn’t replace Spatial computing conveniently
Their marketing team wants us to call it this. Let’s just pretend SP is under the XR umbrella ;)
Both very good projects

The overarching goal for us is to foster a comprehensive ecosystem around the NativeVision framework. This would not only simplify the development process for non-gaming XR projects but also enhance the scalability and adaptability of these applications. The idea is akin to how Vercel supports Next.js, offering various tools and integrations to streamline development and deployment processes.

Yes, this is on our roadmap for release by early March! After which we will add openXR support for the other major devices.
Yes thank you for clarifying, this is what we mean!
Agreed! The goal here is to make it easier for react native engineers to build on any XR (AR or VR) device. Even the new ones being released.

Show HN: NativeVision, helping React Native devs to build XR apps for any device

https://github.com/NativeVision/viro

Hello everyone,We've discovered an open source library named Viro that hadn't been updated in over two years. We've revitalized the library, enabling the creation of XR apps on the latest iOS and Android platforms. Our goal is to transform NativeVision into a versatile library that can be used across various XR devices, including Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. Our aim is to make it easy for...

A couple of people from a small DAO made this so we can avoid scams and speculate on coins that are least likely to rug pull. Free to use and the guys are regularly adding features. It's being bootstrapped so they would love feedback once you use it for a bit. I wanted to show these guys some love because of the work I've seen them put in and the tool is useful. The name is pretty lol as well,

Make friends while learning to code. Buildfaast is a space to pair program with like minded people. Join the community and suggest projects to tackle or join projects submitted by the community.

All levels welcome.

They're building a clone that they will show to Jeff himself. The idea is to use the clone to completely overthrow not just Amazon but the world government.
Lol, is nothing taken as good in this world anymore?

Ask HN: Friend looking for a few other people to build an Amazon clone

Hi everyone, My friend is hosting a 4 week group building session to code up an Amazon clone. He's ex-facebook and is looking to keep his skills sharp while looking for the next gig.
