There's a fine line between using an llm to write a personal blog vs using it to help you come up with an account plan on why you want to sell to a company that will be used internally.

I don't know if my requirements are lax but everytime I give opus 5.5 a job and tell them "spin up sonnet or haiku agents for grunt work they should do given their skills then double check their work"

I get great results and save tokens

You are severely underestimating how stupid/gullible the average person is.
Sounds interesting would love to test it out but here's what I got when I first tried to get some models downloaded.

On a 64gb Ram and 5080 machine the biggest model suggested was Qwen 9B

can hit 90+ tps on the MoE 35b but mag thinks it wont fit.

Re:Where's the "Intelligence Explosion"? on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @12:17PM (#49895843)
I am a smooth brained operator. very much the definition of vibecoding.

Last night I was able to give claude a task and they increased the classification accuracy from

81.3/89.9/92.1 to 90.9/99.3/99.6

In a little over 2 hours. In a task that up until opus 5.5 I was doing by hand/manually. and the day before was able to get the first results.

The intelligence explosion may just be user error.

I cannot imagine the paranoia that it would take for me to go through this process.
Re:Having Kids (2019) on Friday March 20, 2026 @12:07PM (#47456609)
You'll never feel ready but you will always be ready. One of my biggest regrets is not having kids sooner

Probably good you are taking yourself out of the gene pool

Love seinfield's quote about kids -

"One of the nice things God does, is that he doesn't let people who don't have kids know what they're missing"

Re:Federal Right to Privacy Act – Draft legislation on Sunday March 15, 2026 @10:48PM (#47394642)
Google, TTD, Applovin, Magnite, Roku, Freewheel, + 100 more adtech and martech companies.

Lets add Facebook, twitter, openai, claude + all the others.

then lets add Flock, Palantir.

Do you honestly think the lobbying from them would be more or less if this bill gained any traction?

Re:Federal Right to Privacy Act – Draft legislation on Sunday March 15, 2026 @10:37PM (#47394556)
Bold idea but too much money on the other side to let this gain traction
Re:A sane but bull case on Clawdbot / OpenClaw on Wednesday February 04, 2026 @11:26AM (#46887834)
My old CEO - ex sun/greenplum/pivotal swore that sending an email in lowercase forced the other person to read the whole message and not skim.

Re:Hated AI company finds MIT killer on Friday December 19, 2025 @05:45PM (#46331852)

Re:Hated AI company finds MIT killer on Friday December 19, 2025 @01:58PM (#46329519)

Okay? so what. People can see that I drive? do you not think that verizon/ att /google cant see where you traveling by the phone you carry?
Oh no lots people can now see that I go to costco and publix.
Downvote all you want but adtechs like magnite, ttd, and applovin Have way more personal data on you and use it to influence. I'll take safety over ads any day of the week.
Oh no my super secret license plate! definitely something that is normally hidden instead of being on the front and back of my car for anyone to see and photo.

Coming from the Sales world sometimes I don't want to be taught to fish.

I'm coming to my VP for help because I already tried diff baits, went to diff ponds, and tried diff reels. I'm coming for a fish finder not a lecture on maybe my casting was off

You do know that lots of software is just meshing a few things together and selling that as a service right?

Whos to say that they are making it so those 3 vendors work better together?

edit - Also I just know this is a EU dev who thinks if I build a really good product people will just buy.

- yeah it also has solved 3 murders near house so is it really a net negative?
So are the american people that deal with it not the same as the investors getting paid as well?
