I just started a new role and were using hatchet at scale. So far I have found it to be very well thought out. I love creating webhooks to test an event then deleting the webhook afterwards, makes testing for the QA team easy.

Show HN: Open-source iOS app for controlling your AWS DeepRacer

https://github.com/charleswolfe/deepracer-teleoperation

Hey HN! I built an iOS app that gives you a better way to manually drive your AWS DeepRacer. If you own a DeepRacer but aren't actively racing it anymore, the default web UI for manual control is pretty clunky. This app gives you a cleaner mobile interface with a live camera feed from the car, making it actually feel like driving an R/C car. What it does:Streams video from the DeepRacer's...

The site has issues on mobile safari. We cannot see the wallpaper thumbnails.
Re:do LinkedIn posts matter on Thursday September 25, 2025 @05:27PM (#45379344)
LinkedIn would only matter if you had a good following and you were aiming for a role where having an audience would be beneficial.
Re:Ask HN: Will AI push more of us into freelancing? on Saturday August 02, 2025 @07:54AM (#44766878)
The current job market is definitely increasing the amount of freelancers and indie developers.
Lets stop pretending that speeding is the most dangerous drivers do

I see - every day - near misses from missing exits, dangerous lane changes, and aggressive driving/brake checks - and all these infractions go unpoliced

My first two ideas to ‘innovate’ on this was; a car driving down the page, or a drag racing Christmas tree where the lights count down in ‘full tree’ style.
Could you just replace the led with a uv led or a resistor?

Big caveat here; DeleteMe sponsored this video… it’s just an ad for DeleteMe
At Chase you go into work, find a desk or reserve it online, and then you’re in zoom with London, Ohio and India all day

I see zero point in coming into the office

JP Morgan has 60,000 developers for context (I’m biased and only care about developers)
A slower car?

They already make plenty of them

That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the article.

As some one who has interacted with banks and worked at o e, I think it’s really cool what you’re doing. Banks (and other companies in the financial sector) are stuck in the 90s in a lot of ways. Too bad it’s not remote, I would love to contribute to this.

I absolutely love htmx and it fits into Django’s mvt pattern very well.

Is it designed to supplement or replace a workflows application like servicenow?

This is really cool, I wasn’t even aware Cloud flare is working on these kinds of things. Thanks For the news
“The present study suggests that higher adolescent IQ may predict a higher likelihood of moderate or heavy drinking in midlife, but fewer binge-drinking episodes. The study also suggests that this relationship is mediated by other psychosocial factors, specifically income, prompting future exploration of mediators in subsequent studies.”

I believe IQ is mostly BS, however I’m sure those ‘high IQ’ folk are more likely to have higher responsibilities that include business development, networking and added stress. I don’t think the takeaway here is ‘smart people drink’.

Is there a way to share a users connection library to a whole team?
I see no reason why we can’t have both. Let the free market decide.
I have a weekend car that is supercharged. E85 is a lot cheaper than race fuel. It has a benefit in the more efficient forced induction engines as seen many foreign automobiles.
I tried with akami and it still didn’t work. Still need the stealth plugin and some additional tweaks to bypass
Even the subway is slow, or it’s overcrowded, or it’s really late, or there’s crime issues. Tons of ways the commute can slow you down no matter what you do. It’s the people that are the problem, maybe I’m a bit of a hermit
