Don't worry you aren't very far behind the times. It was announced yesterday.
Re:React Tips and Best Practices on Monday February 23, 2015 @03:04PM (#9096627)
That was my initial thoughts when Relay/GraphQL were announced, but it seems that though Relay is inspired by Flux it is somewhat different. Facebook's most recent post on Relay and GraphQL (http://facebook.github.io/react/blog/2015/02/20/introducing-... - February 20) addresses Relay's relation to Flux at the end and mentions that Facebook actually has apps using Flux and Relay.
Re:Keeping Passwords Secure on Friday October 17, 2014 @05:21PM (#8473452)
This is a great idea, but I'd be concerned that a bunch of the users would freak out when they were told that Facebook checked whether their current password has been compromised. Anyone know how they word the notice to the users to keep non-techie people from getting concerned that Facebook is looking at their passwords?

Ask HN: How do you determine which database(s) to use for a project?

This is probably a stupid sounding question, but it really confuses me. How do I decide whether to use MongoDB or Redis, Redis or MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB etc. for a specific project? Is it just a matter of taste or are each one optimized for certain use cases? I've heard of Redis being good for a cache, but then I hear some people just using it as their database. Which should I use it as?

I love how we put this on HN. Most likely everybody who sees this already knows about it - that's why their here (they can't work)

Ask HN:What does your bash_profile look like?

I just accidentally deleted my bash_profile file which contained most of the custom colors, shortcuts etc. I would love to see what other people's bash_profile looks like so maybe I could try a new color scheme and some new shortcuts.

Re:Fetchnotes: Simple, Cloud-Based Note-Taking Service on Friday April 13, 2012 @02:47AM (#3835658)
BTW it isn't very clear how to download the apps - took a couple minutes to figure out that you had to click those litte icons on the home page and when you are logged in you have no way of knowing.
Well... there's no email to hit you up by on your profile
Re:Code-free Website Tour Builder on Tuesday March 20, 2012 @05:36PM (#3731769)
Start by getting Sacha's new book http://sachagreif.com/ebook/ :)
I had the same problem, but what fixed it was I uninstalled it and installed it direct from the webstore (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kdcfbakjhnnjcjdcle...) After doing that it worked like a charm.
They are under major load - just check out the tweet stream: https://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/stashmarks
