Important features like App Connectors won't work with HeadScale.

Unfortunately, HeadScale is not a drop in replacement for TailScale. Most people don't realize this until they start self hosting.

Due to this, I had to migrate from Tailscale to NetBird, which is completely open source.

Re:Write less code, be more responsible on Monday April 13, 2026 @11:30PM (#47760918)
For various internal tools & other projects, I started using config only tools and avoid code as much as possible.

We can also use systemd timer and it ensures there is no overlap.

Re:Pocketbase – open-source realtime back end in 1 file on Saturday November 29, 2025 @07:56AM (#46087197)
I used to use other tools like supabase and others for side projects.

After discovering pocketbase, I never went back to any of those tools. Works surprisingly well even for mid to large web-apps.

I stumbled up on this issue recently while setting up GHA and switched to AWS ECR Gallery which doesn't have limits.

Re:Show file "line count" column in file manager on Thursday November 16, 2023 @11:46PM (#38299691)
After trying out various file managers, I am able to do this in xplr file manager finally. Not sure if any other file managers support this.

Re:Extracting Subset of Common Crawl Data on Laptop on Wednesday November 16, 2022 @08:50PM (#33633890)
Each Common crawl monthly data consists of ~100 TB. For some use cases, we don't need entire data set. We just need a subset of the data.

In this post, lets see how we can extract sub set of the data from our laptop itself.

Re:Githubassets.com Cert Has Expired on Monday November 02, 2020 @08:35AM (#24967958)
We can also use ssl-cert-check cli tool. `ssl-cert-check -s avilpage.com -p 443 -x 30` will return if the certificate will expire in 30 days.

We can use this command in CI pipeline or setup a cron job to monitor it.
