Truly a transcendent experience: the shadow of the moon rushing across the land toward you, the air suddenly cooling, the sunset horizon in every direction, the ring of the sun's corona surrounding the silhouette of the moon... There's no other natural phenomenon like it, and video/photos truly don't do it justice!
Still get frisson every time I think about it ;)

YMMV based on just how old your car is and the type of OEM head unit, but there are kits (e.g. this one for a 2016+ Honda Civic [3]) that allow you to install "standard" head units with a fit/style similar to OEM.

I kid -- but a simple thumbs up/down metric could help separate signal from noise (as is done with current text reviews on Steam).

Doesn't go as far as what you're imagining, but it's a step in the right direction...
Studios who choose/have the freedom to release a game "when it's ready", and/or have Sony/Microsoft backing.
One can hope Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda will change their ways, but having set the release date of Starfield (11/11/22) so far ahead of time doesn't inspire confidence... hopefully they'll have the freedom to push this back if needed.

Likely they'll be subject to the same price gouging and limited supply as AMD and NVidia GPUs...
