LLMs are interesting here - since they can handle ambiguity, there's the potential for user-centric interface, no matter how you work.

My partner built TaskML, a plugin for ChatGPT which means todos are managed in chat, as you go. It's been interesting to consider how it changes the way I plan my work, and reflect on it. I'm still trying to figure out how to improve on a long list that can get overwhelming though.

Directors who can react to this change and minimise loss or find opportunities, should.

This can be increasing revenue (assuming that's tough, otherwise the stock price wouldnt be tanking), or reducing cost (some development work created, a lot of other work lost, including dev / management)

I think the point made above is that it's enough for implementation(X) < implementation(Y) in order to sway some people to technology X. Rapid prototyping is an example of this, since the time-value of feedback is higher before the product is well defined.

The top 100 investors on crunchbase have made 2000 investments in the last 6 months. If that's similar to the sources from the PWC report, then crunchbase seems to have a lot of the raw data (see for example the USV page https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/union-square-venture... and the specific Etsy example https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/etsy).

There's an extra step, which involves pulling out parameters and running through them in an ordered way, which would definitely be an interesting read.

You're absolutely right about the benefits of being first to a story. I'd add that the benefit from publishing overall is smaller because online ad revenue doesn't make up for lost off-line print revenue. As consumers switch away from one and into the other, which is the other the pie has shrink over the last 10-15 years. I'd argue there is still benefit to getting the story right: outlets like the economist and the FT that do focus on quality content / being right are actually still successful today, and are able to capture some of that added value because some segments are still willing to pay to have access to that content, which complements their ad revenues. From Amazon's perspective, it's the only way to exist in the long term. If they keep costs and margins low, they don't give their competitors much breathing room to challenge them on price.
