Yes, we do need cookies enabled to display the page properly - we're putting a notification message there so at least there will be some explanation for visitors who see nothing but a blank screen initially, it's definitely disconcerting otherwise.
Sure, you can import jpeg / png images as well as SVGs.
Thanks so much!
Fair point, and thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for bringing it to our attention - yeah, we noticed it the other day. It'll be corrected very soon.
Thanks for the compliment and the suggestions! I can see how the publishing UI is kind of confusing - we'll figure out how to simplify it.

That's great to hear! If you have any questions while you're investigating how to integrate Animatron into your existing workflow, get in touch with us at feedback at animatron.com - maybe we'll be able to help.

Thank you!
Haha, yeah, some mild resemblance :)
Thanks for the feedback and the compliments! I played around with Radi a while ago and quite liked it :)
It's already in the works, actually! We'll post it here on HN pretty soon.
Cool, thanks so much for writing about us :)
Yeah, required signup is a pet peeve for most (all?) of us on the Animatron team as well.
Strange about the embed code - that's how Vimeo provides it, so it's weird that it didn't work for you, but great that you managed to make it work in the end! Looking forward to reading the post :)
Cool, thanks! Here's the embed code:

<iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/81736441" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

Cool, let us know what you think!
You're welcome ;) thank you for the kind words!
Initially it wasn't made in Animatron, but we're actually in the middle of publishing a video tutorial series about how to do it in the tool: http://tmblr.co/ZGr3es19AumCF
Wow, thanks for the awesome compliment!
Hm, we never thought about it! There's no limit in the database, just client-side restrictions on the input fields ... we'll have to consider.
Thanks!
Thanks so much - we've spent a lot of time thinking about how to make the tool as intuitive as possible, happy to hear that we've succeeded.
Thank you :)
webm and mp4, at the moment.
Awesome, that's exactly what we'd hope to hear :)
That's great to hear, thank so much!
Not initially, but one of our video tutorial series is actually all about how to create that animation in the tool: http://tmblr.co/ZGr3es19AumCF
