All nostalgia is a longing for youth.
The guy regularly posts updates about his life on linkedin. He's got geese, but also doing woodworking, landscaping around his place in rural Washington.
Re:Google Search is now less than half of Alphabet’s revenue on Thursday October 29, 2026 @03:02PM (#50294186)
Looks like a good buying opportunity for GOOG. Just bought 7 shares.

Re:The NASA/ESA Mars Sample Return mission has been canceled on Monday September 21, 2026 @03:53PM (#49792465)
We cannot cancel anything ever because each program is only 0.001% of the federal budget. To do so would be stingy.
Re:Retire in Peace on Saturday September 19, 2026 @03:22AM (#49764190)
> McConnell would never be allowed to drive a car, babysit young children, or file his own taxes. Why, then, should a cognitively incapacitated 82-year-old retain one of the most important positions of power within the national government?

Re:Apple Watch Ultra 4 on Wednesday September 09, 2026 @02:55PM (#49632098)
I desperately wish apple would release a viable competitor to the garmin fenix line but they can't with that battery life. Garmin UX and software overall is such dogshit, and to have Apple UX with garmin raw performance (battery life, GPS tracking accuracy, activity modes) would be perfect. Apple could never though because the fenix was designed from the ground up as an embedded device microcontroller, whereas apple watch is a general purpose computer with a GPU.
