My brain isn't "on" 24/7. Depending on motivation, there may only be a few hours a week where I have enough brain power/creative energy to think critically about technical problems.I feel like if my job were just to cut wood in the forest all day, then I'd be golden. I have the physical energy to do any monotonous task.So how do you guys deal with it? I'm a "Senior DevOps Engineer." I'm getting...
I pirate everything. Haven't subscribed to a service like Spotify, Netflix, etc. in many years. I can listen to my music in CD-quality and bring it anywhere. Same with any movie, TV show, etc. And I know that no one is selling what I find interesting as analytics data.
At the same time, I want to support creators, and I'll donate/use services like Bandcamp to directly support folks I appreciate. I have a $100/mo "donation" fund.
Has nothing to do with the price as I'm more than happy to support creators. Just not through centralized platform that doesn't respect my freedom.
no he's definitely on drugs or this is some GPT bot
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
Lead isn't added to help increase the lifetime of anything. In-fact, that's hilarious, because lead fouls spark plugs and the rest of the engine. I've personally removed spark plugs with pea sized nuggets of lead wedged in the electrode. Problems caused by lead (e.g., stuck valves) are probably the #1 reason you have to overhaul cylinders. Lead is an octane booster, that's it.
"Knocking" is an antiquated term. Knocking = detonation, and any severe detonation would destroy an aircraft engine. For example, this is why we take off with our mixture so rich, to create a huge margin against detonation by lowering internal cylinder pressures.

By this logic, it seems like you're asking Twitter to adopt your view. Screw mine and anyone else's and derank discussion that you don't agree with.
Citation? What are you talking about?
OK... who cares? Who's to say that your world view / morality is more correct than the view in the NYPost article?
You store the State Machine using Terraform, in source control.
I appreciate your perspective here. I feel like the whole world is crazy if I have to dig 3-4 pages before finding an analysis like this.
I suppose that's representative of how we're seeing so many folks gloss over Dr. Malone's CV and so many other facts about this podcast in particular. Could it just be a criticism bandwagon where no one is _actually_ listening to Rogan?
Airports served only by an RNAV (GPS) approach with LPV minimums have different alternate minimums (for planning purposes). That’s the only real distinction. LPV approaches are classified as non-precision due to an ICAO technicality over the lack of a ground transmitter at the airport. GLS approaches compensate for this.

This is the worst name for a product I've ever heard.
How is this different than managing the site list for a Firefox Container? Just that it's a CSV and patterns are supported?
Do you just not define anything in the Firefox Container site list, and rely on this to manage it instead?
Very cool! Everything looks great. The first widget I'm actually going to use.
When iOS 14 came out, I was disappointed when ForeFlight didn't have something like this ready.
Riffing on ideas:
It'd be cool if the wind direction in the smart view was relative to your phone's orientation. I'm also imagining a little rendering of a runway and a windsock. TAFs would be a cool and challenging next step? A widget that'd some how give an idea of the latest surface analysis?
I bet we can all agree that any development of our nation's cellular network is a good thing :)
Uh, where's the source code? If I'm trusting you with my mail, you should be trusting me with the source code.

How would you implement this? Are you talking about amending § 91.119?
See: https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/91.119
You'd also need to amend right of way rules:
See: https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/91.113
This would make it very hard for anyone operating smaller aircraft under busy charlie or bravo shelves. Also, would there be exclusions around airports for pattern work?
How would folks operating the toys even know about these altitudes? Really, if the toy can enter echo airspace, it should require some sort of license to operate.
Not for system dialog boxes, like signing into the App Store. I know exactly what he's talking about.
It's not called "the tarmac" by anyone in aviation. Taxiway and ramp?
Safari just downloaded a text file for me when I clicked the link. Nothing else happened.
So you're saying you hate puppies?
