Show HN: Revdiff – TUI diff reviewer with inline annotations for AI agents

https://github.com/umputun/revdiff

I built a terminal diff viewer for a workflow I couldn't do comfortably with existing tools: reviewing AI-generated code changes without leaving the terminal session where the agent runs, annotating what needs to change, and feeding those annotations straight back to the agent. Plenty of diff viewers exist, and some can even feed notes back to an agent, but none of them fit that flow for me -...

Show HN: Ralphex – Ralph-inspired loop extended with plan creation and reviews

https://ralphex.umputun.dev/

Built this to manage the full Claude Code workflow autonomously, from initial plan creation to reviewed PR.Tested it on a 25-task plan (5-7 items each) - ran overnight, woke up to a surprisingly solid PR-ready branch.Just run `ralphex` (single binary) in your...

Re:How I write HTTP services in Go after 13 years on Friday February 09, 2024 @05:29PM (#39321281)
The encode example contains a bug and a lint issue. Firstly, calling w.Header().Set after w.WriteHeader is likely a bug, as the w.WriteHeader method call should occur after setting the headers.

The second issue involves passing an unused *http.Request, which will likely cause the linter to flag it.

Show HN: Spot, Simplifying DevOps Automation

https://simplotask.com/

I just released the first stable version of a new tool called "Spot" (also known as simplotask). As someone who has had to deal with the frustration of broken Ansible dependencies and the endless googling required to add even the most trivial elements to playbooks, I decided to create a tool that simplifies these tasks. That's how Spot was born - a simple yet flexible tool for automating...

Re:GitHub Copilot is generally available on Tuesday June 21, 2022 @01:01PM (#31826315)
I got this free access. Tried to figure how to request this "Verified" status, whatever it means, but github seems to set it automatically and notified me "you are eligible to use GitHub Copilot for free". I'm not sure how exactly they do it and what defines "the most popular open source projects". The most popular repo (by stars) I have is with 3k stars. Apparently it is enough, not sure.
Re:Prevent duplicate cron job running on Saturday September 04, 2021 @02:40PM (#28417847)
I have made a simple "cron with extras" project https://github.com/umputun/cronn handling duplication issue as well as a bunch of other things, like restarting failed jobs, jitter, automatic reload and so on.
Re:Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine on Tuesday July 21, 2020 @04:23PM (#23910603)
The model it uses is non-relational and KV store was a better fit
Re:Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine on Tuesday July 21, 2020 @04:22PM (#23910596)
I meant server-side rendering for the web. Remark42 exposing all functionality via API and any alternative frontend can be made. I know someone doing android SDK for this. Not sure about ios side.
Re:Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine on Tuesday July 21, 2020 @01:29PM (#23908842)
Making such a frontend for remark42 with complete server-side rendering should be possible. In fact, even now the backend doing a lot of this, for example comments preview rendered this way.

Re:Strongsync – Host your own Dropbox using only SFTP or S3 on Friday December 20, 2013 @01:31PM (#6943071)
Very beta-like (or even pre-beta), bad looking version. In my 15minutes test by just removing file from the local folder during sync I caused a full stop for any sync operations. Restart didn't help, the only way to "fix" it was to remove data store on SFTP side and re-connect clients. Sync speed is low (seems to be limited to something around 3MB/s, on LAN). All operations seem to be sequential. Integration with Finder just a joke, most time it doesn't refresh green/orange badge automatically. From time to time client shows odd messages like "over limit, upgrade plan" (what limit?, what plan?). In my opinion - doesn't worth any money yet. I'll stay with btsync for sync and seafile for dropbox-like.
