I have developed a system-wide writing assistant like you're describing. By design, it has no exceptions to where it works.
Currently, it's only for Mac, but I'm working on an Electron version too (though it's quite challenging).
Check out https://steerapp.ai/
Rga: Ripgrep, but also search in PDFs, E-Books, Office documents, zip, etc.

Would love to see the code, any plans on open sourcing?
Show HN: Token Streaming with OpenAI SDK and FastAPI
https://github.com/glance-io/steer-backend
We open sourced the code we use for our grammar assistant app backend. It is a small and hopefully easy to navigate server app. It could serve as an inspiration for OpenAI token streaming and FastAPI. The code isn't perfect since we're still validating the idea, and we welcome any feedback. But we also believe, that the minimal viable example has been reached.

I was wondering whether the table actually comes from some paper, or it's just a marketing trick for techy folks.
