Re:Ask HN: How to sell an app making $350k a year? on Monday May 25, 2015 @01:46PM (#9600937)
Website brokers and such would be your best bet. Example feinternational.com or anyone else that is reputable would be the best bet for you to sell your app.

Works for me. Seems like their wordpress was down?
What you are looking for is called serpwoo.com ;)

Also any rank tracker can do that too. I use proranktracker.com for my personal URLS and serpwoo to track the entire top 20 sites for any keyword.

Honestly it's more marketing hype then security. While they do have some good applications they have had some bugs in their phones that really question the $700 price tag.

Most of the security apps will require that the other person has the same apps. I find that rarely will people use those apps.

Nothing really to be honest. The reason is because no one really trades domains.
Re:Ask HN: Gradients in UI Design? on Tuesday February 03, 2015 @04:46PM (#8993624)
Honestly this will depend on your users.

Users will end up paying for the software. Designers will be well designers.

You could also do some sort of "skins" feature on your app and please everyone.

Interesting startup. However I am a bit worried because their site does not have an SSL certificate. Also there really is no about us on their site.
Any proof?

Thanks WMF. I was looking for a service that would have this as an API or infrastructure behind it. I would rather not have to build out something entirely from scratch.

Ask HN: Push Payments to Debit Cards?

Hey guys I was looking into a solution that would allow me to pay my app users with a push to debit card type of service. I know stripe does thishttps://stripe.com/blog/send-money-to-debit-cards as well as balanced payments https://www.balancedpayments.com/push-to-cardI was wondering if anyone knew anyone else who would do this? I reached out to balanced payments but their solution won't be...

I would say this, take your savings and double it before jumping in. Your going to realize that you might be spending more money then allotted for your project. Also make friends with internet marketers and such to help you raise awareness for your brand/company. I've made friends with startups and helped them get traction and they have hooked me up with their development knowledge (not work, just answers to questions) and such.

What's your plan if this doesn't work out? Hate to say it but just wanted you to think about it.
