Why do I feel like this is the story of the average B2B SaaS YC startup?
I’m paying $100 per month for codex, idk if that’s them “losing”….? Although idk about big enterprise cos keeping their unlimited token/tokenmaxxin usage though API req
Turn this into an essay or something, cool ideas here
They’re so disconnected from reality, living in their own bubble.
from perplexity deep research:
"Colossus‑related gas‑turbine power plants have been run in ways alleged to violate the Clean Air Act, in already over‑polluted Black and low‑income communities near Memphis, and Anthropic has now become the main user of that infrastructure."

Yeah very simple, but cool nonetheless.
Anyone know what kind of departments/parts of business were the first adopters of visicalc?
can you expand on your workflow?
I took inspiration from (
https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/osec/osec20250812), which mentions: "Demand-Driven Strategies: Expand proven work-based learning models like Registered Apprenticeships and align education programs to career pathways in priority industries to ensure direct connections to employer needs."
I was surprised to find this coming from the current admin for sure...
Thank you for the kind words!

Hi HN, this is Miguel, and I built a simulation of what the tech industry will look like in 2027. We hear a lot about job loss, AI literacy, and in general the fear of the future... and I wanted to capture these feelings through an immersive experience. Check it out here: https://marbleos.comSam Altman says that there will be mass layoffs, but many “new jobs” will be created, and when asked...

Yup! People here are great hackers but it’s almost like they have their head up their own ass when it comes to AI/ML.
Most of HN was very wrong about LLMs.
Let me guess, you’ve never tried them? This is the one substance no one should be talking about if you’ve never tried it. You can’t reason your way through it with first principles.
I like this. It seems that those who value agency don’t align with the post. It validates letting time go by without doing anything to change yourself or the situation.
I love this mindset. I don’t buy the other perspectives. When you fall in love with the craft… time, perception, age, etc matter much less. You care more about adapting yourself no matter how old to perfect the craft.
Wow. That’s insane! With the trick I can somehow solve them all!
I tried it, and it's good but I feel like the synthetic data used for training 3.1 does not hold up to gpt4o prob using human-curated data.
Interesting. How many companies need people to build things from the ground up vs maintainers/janitors of complex systems? I think the type of interview (leetcode vs system design) might depend on what category the job fits into.
Here's an AI system that applies the pedagogy of George Polya:
https://www.withmarble.io/It helps learners understand, plan, and then implement the plan.
New windows PCs will come equipped with a co-pilot that can see everything on the screen. I wonder if this vision Andy laid out is more like a ChatGPT co-pilot that has all context of your screen/life, rather than a "learning tool". With this in mind, is it even worth building assistants that will behave similarly to ChatGPT?
There's still the cost of reviewing bad code. If the task was "completed" but you have to spend 20 mins looking over the code or the whole 1-hour-long process to "understand" what it did, it still failed.
They're 100% shooting for being able to fire most engineers. That's the dream that allows raising a bunch of $$$. Just know there's a reason their product is a closed demo. Any working "agent" will require intervention. If a product requires intervention, you still need someone managing the AI and they just become software devs using a powerful tool.
