Show HN: Nevertwenty a novel approach to chord synthesis

https://www.nevertwenty.com/

I play piano and I built this for myself recently.Type a song, hit play, and the chords come at you on the beat. It's Rock Band for real instruments: the chord you need is the one under the playhead. I've almost got the entire music database here. I dare you to find a public track that isn't in here. Catalog is 6.8M songs / 103k artists.Librosa beat detection. ONNX graph combined with my custom...

I built this "conversation network" to help ua navigate these difficult political times. At scale, I'm sure this will work; might be hard getting there. I've been thinking about this window's gui concept for a while. Cursor helped me build this faster than antificpiated. Super gnarly, great fun.

Prompt Mode -> Create a prompt and it gets 'activated' to the entire network. Basically, as long as you're both online, someone in the respond mode has a chance to see it. Only when you're both online though, real-time conversations only.

Respond Mode -> Just as it suggests, you'll get random windows popping up of online prompters. Switch between both modes seemlessly.

This political landscape is a nightmare. Open the communication doors and libterate the people! -b

Hi,

We built this over the course the last 4 months. We hated misinformation, we hated bots, we hated loneliness, we hated corporate infiltration, we hated the destruction of our kids' mental health. Read our Declaration of Principles here: https://www.olivers.army/declaration

Requester Mode -> Create and activate Requests to be sent and seen by anyone in "Responder Mode"

Responder Mode -> Respond to active Requests that get sent your way. You can filter requests by maturity, creativity and some safety stuff. More clever filters in future.

Observation Deck -> Watch the most interesting conversations happen. We're still building this.

We wanted an operating system type feel. We went with window management as we thought this was the most intuitive.

We're running with this tagline for now: "A next-generation social platform that connects people through real time conversations." but we think it's corny and want a new one; suggestions welcome.

Have a great Wednesday HN! It's a privilege to be here. -Brandon

GREAT example of a Minimum Viable Product. Can't wait to see how this evolves. The devs definitely know what they're doing.

www.nevertwenty.live is will give you the chords to any song want.
Great feedback. Thanks for your time.
Hey, thanks!
The analysis doesn't happen in real-time so it's pulling the chord data from a database. That being said, I think the coverage is pretty good. Love hearing about what's missing or could be added. Feel free to update me on any improvements you think can be made with the song selection.

Show HN: Nevertwenty – Play along with any song using real-time chords

Hey there, Hacker News community! I've just brought my dream app to life, and I'm eager to share it with you all. At a glance, it might seem like a search engine, but it's really so much more. It's an intuitive tool specifically designed for practicing musicians. What's the magic ingredient, you ask? The app shows users critical musical details about any song of their choice - but that's not...

Re:Show HN: I created a game to memorize the fretboard on Sunday May 28, 2023 @09:46AM (#36103959)
woah. i created something similar recently. but my app lets play along by providing an easy way to interpret the chords of any song you can think of. i built a really neat interactive music player that breaks the song down by bpm, pitch, key, and (of course) a preview of the upcoming chords and when to play them.

lets collab?

https://superwet.live chord and lyric generating neural network

I'm working on Superwet Fantastic.it's very tongue and cheek for now. But i'm making progress. Spent 3 months amassing a 30gb chord/tab data collection. Most of my time being cleaning the human uploaded mess. It's showing good potential now and I have a todo list hours long that hopefull will result in the model being powerful enough for commercial applications.
