Same happened to me yesterday, I published a new app and it was reviewed and published within a few hours without any beta testing. but I think this is why I see people ready to buy old playstore accounts for real money, maybe this only affects new accounts

Interestingly, I published a completely new app yesterday, and it was reviewed and published in less than 2 hours.

Yes, it was a floating point rounding issue when slicing holes. Just pushed a fix, thank you for pointing it out

Fair point, I used AI to quickly build the interactive widget and English isn't my native language so ofc I used it to help edit the text. I'm looking at the code right now, what did you see that was broken?

Good point, but "cutting in half" here refers to total area, not keeping each half as a single connected piece. Slicing through spirals will definetely cut one side into multiple disconnected fragments, but as the straight line sweeps across the shape, the sum of the areas on the left side still grows continuously from 0% to 100%, so it is guaranteed to cross the exact 50% mark at some point.

The math behind why you can always find a perfect 50/50 cut, even for weird shapes.

Thanks, I didn't know about Schlag den Henssler, maybe the idea has been around longer than I thought. And I agree about it feeling a little clinical, that's actually something I've been thinking about because I don't want to lose the minimalist feel in the process, but it certainly needs more "gamification".
I really like the idea of thirds as well. or maybe require different percentages, not only 50% or 33%, can be random to add more into difficulty.
Thanks a lot
Show HN: Bisecto – A minimalist game about cutting shapes into 50/50 halves
Hey HN,I built Bisecto (https://bisecto.com), a minimalist browser game with one simple mechanic, cutting (bisecting) a procedural 2D shape into two exact 50/50 halves with a single straight line.Confession: I got completely hooked watching those viral reels of people trying to cut fruits and vegetables into perfectly equal halves, and that was my inspiration for this game :D I've been writing...

Seems nice, but since it's based on fzf, why not just use fzf and it's built in shortcuts, never used ios tho, so maybe the ⌘-k is heavily used with ios.

While I can't vouch for this study's accuracy, deep-sea mining companies will find a way to discredit any research that opposes their interests. Marine ecosystems are already under significant stress, and these mining operations will certainly accelerate the damage that's already happening.

Another tool that I can't live without, which requires no configuration at all is fzf, you can easily and (fuzz)yly find files in your system, move into directories, search in your command history, search active processes and kill them and a lot more.
Give it a try
