"Giv den gas" = "Give it gas" meaning "Go for it" in Danish.

I know of several similar idioms in other languages. I don't understand why the article makes it our to be unique.

Very poorly worded/translated headline. "friskola" does NOT mean FREE schools.

It is actually private scrolls that are not directly controlled (fri = free as in not controlled) by the government.

They are is usually religious or otherwise connected to some methodology or believe system.

“As a language model, f*k you Tony”

Nope, the website is not Elm, just the product itself.

Very fair point. And we do hope to have better support for mobile phone formats in the future.

Humio | Stockholm Sweden, Aarhus Denmark, Remote UK | Full time

Humio is a log analysis platform built with Elm, Scala, Kafka. We are VC funded by Accel and are currently 40 people across Scandinavia, UK and the US. We are taking on traditional logging vendors like Elastic and Splunk and able to handle petabytes of ingest per day.

We are looking for Elm developers (and frontend devs interested in learning Elm) to help use create the best client for exploring and analysing HUGE quantities of logs. You will be innovating on how to slice and dice the data to create insight, creating live (sub-second) dashboards, working with GraphQL and REST API’s and expanding them, expanding both our On-Prem and SaaS offerings.

Disclaimer I work for Humio. You can use the Humio Plugin and a free Humio cloud account to track anything. You just have to print it as part of you test and the find the result in Humio. It pretty much does away with the need for any other Jenkins plugin. You can find it in the jenkins plugin list.

Looks like Humio. I wonder if they can match speed and flexibility of Humio.
Or just use:

Humio | Stockholm, Sweden or Aarhus, Denmark | Onsite or Remote | Elm Frontend Developer

Humio is a fast and flexible logging platform. It is available for self-hosting or as SaaS. Humio is compatible with most popular open-source data shippers (Fluentd, Rsyslog, FileBeat, etc.) so it is easy to adopt or migrate to from other platforms like ElasticSearch ELK. The simple yet powerful query language feels familiar to most developers, and works on any data format - structured or unstructured.

We are one of the biggest Elm codebases in the world.

You will be working with:

* Elm * GraphQL * Javascript * Scala * Go * UX

We Humio.com are a small business as well, and we hired a consultant for a few days to help us iron out the changes we needed to do. We are happy with the help we got and it would have taken us a lot longer to get right by ourselves.

- Love for Functional Programming

- Love Sharing Knowledge with your co-workers

By validate I mean, rules like:

- is "title" set, - when "age" is set "birthday" must not be set. - the cart can have a max of 10 items.

Ask HN: How would you validate data on both back end and front end?

Dear HN,in most projects you want to do validation of the submitted data both client- and server-side.When using node/js the validation is simple, of course, because the validation rules are written once. But, more often than not I don't work in JS or use another server side language. My Question: Do you know of any good way to validate objects/data structures in a language agnostic way?I have...

Goto conference is pretty awesome. Saw this live in DK was really inspiring.
meh, while there are certain truths in what he says, it only paints a very small picture of Scandinavia. I mean which nation doesn't its faults? Uninteresting.
