A few years later, when I look for a new book to read, I find all sorts of books that I don't remember ever buying. I pull one out, start reading a few pages.
Life happens. At some point my wife dissolves the ever-growing stack of half-started books on my nightstand and puts them all back on the shelf.
And so the cycle begins anew.
I received a fake job offer. The NPM package was a full info-stealer

If you're trying to get non-technical people to try an underdog browser, simplicity helps. A single, straightforward brand name is better.
I mean, if something is imaginable, there's a chance it is indeed so, but still - this would be on a whole other level.

Haven't seen that meme in a while.
Green has a soothing, calming effect on people because it's most common in our natural surroundings. For example, TV shows use "green rooms" filled with plants (and sometimes even painted green) to calm down guests before they go on stage for this very reason.
Orange, on the other hand, excites people and can elevate their heartbeat. It's a cross between red (hot-blooded, passion, rage) and yellow (energy, happiness, attention). You could say it encourages your emotions to interfere with rational thought.
So you can keep your appetite for large-scale redesigns! Just add a step to incorporate color psychology.
It would be a stretch to consider the hints cheating; they are an integral part of the game, they are clearly explained and carry a penalty if used.
The irony is, faulting the question because "that's just the way it is here" beautifully illustrates the exact premise of the experiment. I'd say that explains a 3.4 score (at least in this game).
Love the choice of words here. This sounds so very retro today; it's reminiscent of the early days of computing on several levels.
Before savegames, before checkpoints, before cloud... there was simply the hard-drive, and you erased stuff from it. Fascinating.
Unfortunately, it seems to be down right now.
I do agree that this particular hype, if we want to call it that, is one of a kind, at least in my (limited) experience. The current valuation is crazy, but so is the impact of "AI" right now.
I just have no idea how long it will last.
Ask HN: Do you plan to cash in (some of) your NVDA shares/RSUs?
NVDA stock is up 22% since last Thursday. Right now, it looks like it may go higher today. Who knows where this rally may end, and how much of it is hype/irrational FOMO.Those of you who work at NVDA and have vested RSUs (or have them coming up soon), do you plan to sell at least some of them to lock in profits at this valuation? Specifically, if you don't usually sell them right away, did this...

This kind of post instantly repels any desire to seriously interact with you in any meaningful way (at least in me). If English is not your first language, I'd simply say so and then run your own text through deepl.com or something if you think you have to. If your grammar is lacking, use whatever tool for that on your own writing.
Throwing up generic drivel with triple repetition of key facts that sounds like a madlib question straight out of an online marketing crash course is disrespectful to the reader and detrimental to your credibility.
I'm speaking only for myself, of course, and others may disagree. Sorry if this is off-topic.
