Thanks but no thanks. Firebase is already modern.
Re:Ask HN: Has Argentina really lowered its inflation rate? on Wednesday August 14, 2024 @05:55PM (#41250915)
I believe hn users who claim to be from argentina or somewhere near, that's it. If I see one such comment, it might still be misleading but If it is tens of such people, it would be legit enough to believe.
this is not a tool, this is an llm wrapper :)
Re:LLM as Database Administrator on Sunday August 04, 2024 @06:50AM (#41152623)
yeah let me give database access to an llm and it drops the table and randomly delete rows.

it can not even generate random text on general things, why the hell would I trust about my database?

Re:Full Introduction to Golang with Test-Driven Development on Saturday August 03, 2024 @08:06AM (#41146143)
It is funny how tutorials are always built on top of "hello world" or basic math functions where you don't see anything close to real world. I mean, I would not expect to see production level code but at least it could be a sort of demonstration of it.
Re:Why doesn't advice work? on Tuesday July 30, 2024 @03:28PM (#41113216)
It works if and only if it is requested.

I am a Go oriented backend engineer with 4 years of experience.

I would like to design and build Microservices that are scalable and fault tolerant.

Looking for any opportunities from low to middle sized startups.

Also open for any founding engineering role.

However, consider LLM's and the way they actually work. If I want it to create a unique LLM, is it intelligent enough to come up with one that it is not trained with? Does it have enough understanding to compare all the other ones it is trained with and come up with a new one using some probabilistic randomness?

Ask HN: Can LLM's generate a sudoku that has not been created before?

or can a LLM generate a sudoku which it has not been trained with?LLM's are neural networks that are trained with a massive amount of data. Their training data can contain all the publicly available sudokus that in the internet. So, can it really be creative enough to come up with any sudoku that it doesn't even see before?I would expect that they could not because they are not trained with....
