Re:Ask HN: How much faster can asm.js (realistically) get? on Saturday May 17, 2014 @09:03PM (#7761754)
Is it possible that asm.js, since it's compiled dynamically on the client (giving access to more information potentially leading to better optimizations) can eventually out perform c/c++?

Ask HN: How much faster can asm.js (realistically) get?

asm.js is really impressive. Engineering within limitations yet still producing something that runs http://beta.unity3d.com/jonas/AngryBots/(Try in Firefox 29+ for best results)https://hacks.mozilla.org/2014/05/asm-js-performance-improvements-in-the-latest-version-of-firefox-make-games-fly/

Yes.
It's like secretly poisoning the pot a great Sequoia tree would initially grow from, then standing around and brainstorming with people about how to create a better environment for it to flourish. So long people know it's disingenuous, that's all I can ask for.
OP here, first article. Hope it's worth the read.
