Re:Show HN: gRPC over WebRTC on Tuesday June 23, 2020 @06:33AM (#23612095)
flatend has bi-directional rpc enabled: https://github.com/lithdew/flatend

Can stream large files too!

I'm working with OP on flatend. I saw your Show HN a couple days ago, it's an extensive suite for code generation indeed. I'm seeing some crossover opportunity here. May I ask if express.js is a compulsory requirment for generating with xgenecloud?
sorry for the tight tone. I was clicking on the link on the first load and the images are all broken. It worked after several refreshes. Thanks for heads up!
Site is broken (broken images). Fix it before you launch.

Would be nice to have Desktop views too for web apps (e.g. made in Electron for MacOS).
Font hurts my eyes... Recommend to use sans serif fonts for readability.

Ask HN: Do you curate links/bookmarks?

Would like to know how the tech community deals with bookmarks and links. They might just be read-later entries that you want to visit later on. Or could the links you have been collecting be a valuable resource? How would you share them?

Why not just allow users to generate the app from a spreadsheet? Right now it seem cumbersome to create a 'model' within Webase...

I have this problem too. In fact, I built a tool to better serve my own needs [0]. It helps to categorize links based on keywords. Best for article links but also works for generic links, as long as a title and description is present.

Thanks for the headsup! I'm adding SSL and custom domain in the next few days. Do stay tuned to updates!
Re:Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base on Friday January 17, 2020 @04:38AM (#22073257)
It's a process involving basic Natural Language Processing tools: stopword removal and dictionaries. It works well for English most of the time (when the link is an article) and Chinese not as accurate (Chinese is hard to segment into useful words tbh).

What kind of links are you looking to auto-tag?

Re:Show HN: Stackkup – Auto-Tagging Bookmark Base on Friday January 17, 2020 @03:49AM (#22073002)
Hi, I'm Jonathan. I built this tool out of frustration over existing bookmark managers (e.g.built-in Chrome) that you have to manually organize by creating folders. Auto-tagging is simple using the existing meta-data (title, description, body text). Hope it can help those with 100+ tabs open right now :)

Not to hard-sell but I would recommend discovering content via sites like HN or Reddit where quality content gets upvoted. I built a tool[0] for curating quality content so you can share to friends.

Have you considered tag based grouping? Just grouping manually is not different to the native Chrome bookmark manager...

Built a similar builder prototype here: http://e2s-game.surge.sh/

Suppose it should contain a mission where you need to answer a set of questions to proceed

Re:Show HN: I Made a Minimalist Customer Support App on Thursday December 12, 2019 @11:07AM (#21773032)
While building my main project (stackkup.com), I was looking for a Help Center solution get answers to customers' questions when I wasn't immediately available.

There are customer chatbot solutions out there but I feel overwhelmed by the effort to set up dialogue logic. Thus Sparrw's idea formed and I'm seeing if anyone thinks this is useful for them!

I was looking for a solution to serve customers and get answers to questions on occasions where personal touch is not available via chat (or I wasn't immediately available).

There are chatbots specifically for customer support but I feel overwhelmed by the effort to set up dialogue logic. Thus Sparrw idea formed and I'm seeing of anyone else has the same need.
