Re:The Speed of Prototyping in the Age of AI on Monday June 01, 2026 @02:21AM (#48353247)
Productivity has increased only for people who knows what they are doing. I have been able to increase my productivity to build and turn around things faster and in a much polished manner. One problem is too many things goes on in your head and I see using tools like Jira or notion are very handy to capture all edge scenarios, integrations need to be captured. Taking break from AI is very very essential for this to work for me.

With its usage, it will evolve and get better with time, both as a product and the solutions they provide

Re:When AWS, Azure, or GCP Becomes the Competition (2019) on Monday August 30, 2021 @02:55AM (#28353321)
I played around with OCI this weekend , and it is good too. Offering more than others for free, maybe because they are lagging behind. DB side they are powerful than competitors.

My 2 cents no point in reinventing the wheel. Instead use infrastructure to create something disruptive as they say it ( wonderful was sounding a bit lame :) ), spending money will automatically mean commercial software. At a quality worth spending money on.

Open source has its own charm, you are aiming for fame than money I guess ? Collaboration with strangers - keep your mind and heart open to new ideas and that can burn out software developers like us. Where we intent on creating something with a strong will, to learn something ( rust is a b**h ).

Re:Ask HN: What is a cool technology to learn? on Friday July 02, 2021 @07:41AM (#27710209)
If you are new to technology learn c, easy to wrap your head around it and can propagate your skills forward. If you are already a decent developer, learn rxjs, totally different concepts that other language, its amazing what all you can do with rest based calls. Fun playground out there.
