Re:Tig – Text-mode interface for Git on Wednesday December 16, 2020 @10:57AM (#25444086)
Tig provides a GUI that is text-based, i.e. runs right in your terminal. It's essentially a shell friendly version of sourcetree/tortoisegit etc. A great tool on its own, but particularly useful for headless servers/remote machines.

For those like myself who have a diet largely consisting of meat, this sounds great for the exact reasons you described; reduced environmental impact and possibly greater personal health. I agree that the original Impossible Burger was disappointing, but if they manage to incrementally improve to the point of being barely distinguishable, I think overall its a really good thing.

I wonder if there will be an option to keep the two extra screens collapsed. Certainly there's still the weight factor, but this would allow it to be more compact and would probably extend battery life considerably (though I imagine it will still be laughably bad).

I think it would be awesome to have access to three screens when you're on the road, but this thing definitely won't be replacing any ultrabooks anytime soon.
