I think websites will stay, they will just get a second audience. It’s the phone all over again: pinch and zoom first, then m.example.com, then responsive design. Agents are at the pinch and zoom stage.

AI full-stack engineer with 6+ years building production web, mobile, and LLM-powered products. Currently Lead Engineer for Proma.ai at Growthzilla, where I own full-stack architecture across TypeScript, PostgreSQL, LLM integration layers, and Cloudflare deployment. Before that, as co-founder and CTO of Khellabs, I built a real-time multiplayer game that grew to 1M+ downloads, so I've seen products through from early build to scale. I've worked with US-based remote teams for the past 6+ years, so I'm comfortable with US timezone overlap. Looking for hands-on senior/lead roles in applied AI, developer tooling, or full-stack product engineering.

I think it is generally fast enough just using Supabase js library, but if you want to manage your own pools and care about handling millions of concurrent requests, only then I think moving away from it might show some visible performance benefits.
