The last couple weeks have been working on a parking spot app for Taipei and New Taipei. Finding a available spot, especially during weekends is very difficult. There are some apps, but only in Mandarin, so I did a English version.

If you are in the area, try it out https://taipeiparking.com/ - Android app and web app.

Re:Ask HN: Which Auth Service for SaaS? on Thursday September 08, 2022 @11:54PM (#32775118)
I really like magic link + 2FA which gives a bit more security.
Re:Ask HN: Which Auth Service for SaaS? on Thursday September 08, 2022 @11:52PM (#32775112)
it seems quite pricey for a vendor lock in option or not?
Re:Ask HN: Which Auth Service for SaaS? on Thursday September 08, 2022 @11:52PM (#32775108)
I tend to agree, but which provider do you use?
Re:Ask HN: Which Auth Service for SaaS? on Wednesday September 07, 2022 @11:02AM (#32751564)
The problem with simple auth is that it gets complicated with TOTP/2FA which I believe is necessary nowadays. I think you are right so see what is most popular with the language (python in my case) and stick to it, but there are lots of Identity providers our there and they have different pricing schemes. I will definitely check out ory.sh I have not heard of them before.
