Solving for a longer charge may get them some sales from holdouts who went out and bought a Garmin instead. Cramming more features that make existing Apple Watch users feel like their watches are obsolete will get them a lot more.

I've been looking around for a book like this that has scientific/engineering topics presented in a bite-sized fashion so a teenager (or even adults) can discover which ones pique their interests and are worth a deeper dive.
Would this book work or is it a bit too simple? Does anyone have another book to recommend?
Note that by doing this most (or maybe all) credit card companies will only honour whatever protections and insurances they offer on the original portion of the limit. So if you make an $11k payment, $10k of that is like handing cash to the vendor.
Mine had a similar recommendation about eye drops and additionally strongly advised me to never use drops with vasoconstrictors like Visene.
20 days into the new year and there have already been more than 1/3 of 2022's total layoffs.
Admittedly most of those have come from a handful of large companies.
I kept a note on my phone with details about my girlfriend (now wife) that I would otherwise easily forget. Favorite flowers, songs, restaurants, etc. As I got to know her family I briefly had a few lines for her parents and siblings but now that we're married I can just bug her for info instead.

Surely you see that in this analogy it is Putin who is the villain (Lord Farquaad)?
Companies that otherwise spend $20,000 to fill a role. Headhunting is a huge overhead
> I've been using MacBooks for 8 hours a decade, for over half a decade now
To be fair, 4 hours is not a lot of time to learn a new OS :)
For one it doesn't lag when I scroll through their landing page unlike linear.app

If an app like Clubhouse wanted to hide communication with Chinese servers would it not be trivial for them to proxy all of the telemetry calls through a US-based AWS or Azure server?
Also not if for most of humanity the mates with this hypothetical gene were repressed into heterosexual relationships.
Can someone explain what this means? Does it benefit those working on Linux support for M1?
I should have prefixed that this is drawing heavily on what I remember reading about Walmart and their effect on rural/suburban economies when they expanded. In that sense it is conjecture on my part as I'm not drawing on any studies about Amazon in particular. I only wanted to show how large corporations that compete directly with small retail employers can get an unfair advantage against their labour force.
Your theory could obviously be valid as well.
As Colin says, I don't disagree. I don't think twice about ordering an item on Amazon for $2 that a hardware store downstairs sells for $5. I understand why the store's margins need to be that high but I also need to make sound financial decisions and don't make enough to subsidize anyone else. At the end of the day I'm still contributing to Amazon's growth at the expense of a more fragmented market of small businesses.
You live in a small town with small businesses that are undercut by Amazon's price and scale. Those businesses slowly die out as everyone in your region switches to ordering online (primarily from Amazon). Amazon opens a warehouse in the region to meet the demand and is now the largest employer around.
This exact transformation already happened with Wal-Mart in the 80s and 90s. Obviously no one is literally forcing workers to go to Amazon's warehouses but you can see how in essence this leaves them with no choice (i.e. forced).
Unfortunately Firefox on iOS doesn't have access to content blockers and can't install its own ad-blockers.
For a blog post about simplifying there sure are a lot of links embedded in the text to take your attention away.
