I have to say that there was interesting thinking going into the Groupon model. It seems that the business may use it as a lost leader to show and showcase other products and services. For the business warm bodies mean opportunity. Each system has flaws this one has been very well pointed out in the article and the risks seem worth it for many companies. How to eliminate abuse. That is the question
sorry i have to disagree abit.without a great idea there is nothing to build a business around, in my opinion a good entrepreneur is a great manager of people and can creates system that allow them to be better at what they do
i find this an interesting idea.nothing succeeds like success
sometimes i leave myself something that keeps my brain working on a solution.i find that a different ream sometimes lets my defense down and the answer to enter
I have to agree it's a good start but I am still not sure what it is you are doing
I always had trouble in regular math classes until physics. I think it was the type of problem solving I understood and related to
I think I missed the page 2 stuff.
I really have to agree here. I have several successful companies and invested in myself.I am one who lost most in the real estate market.I because of my previous entrepreneurial experience believe in myself. No school can give you that only life experience. I took all the plus and minuses of the previous business and develop a real for profit business that meets all the things I want a business to do for me.
Also, I can for see problems easier and have more patience for somethings and less for some others. but I know the difference.
Also, because this is a later life business I have an urgency that I think younger entrepreneurs don't always have
this makes my concentration stronger, at least for me.

I was having a discussion with my sister as to which was preferable.I made the argument that a book is easier to carry around, can be written on for notes and thoughts and can be shared. She said the Kindle makes reading easier, less carbon footprint and is cooler. I must be old school but for at least thought provoking reading I will stick with my real books before they are gone.Am I really...
It's tend-able not ten-able. I thought the same when I first read this too.
Tend to as taking care of business
Some of what i read was funny. You don't use soap but you use what amounts to a corporate advertising gimmick deodorant. Probably much worse for you on the whole. I don't use deodorant because I eat pretty well which I believe results in what your body excretes so the issue of deodorant isn't so important as I shower once or twice a day depending on activity.Good luck but I am not clear what is to be gained
It seems like these two really earned what they got. They got ahead of a trend and developed a useful and popular real product. And that they know that their developers are responsible for the success of the site speak highly of them as quality entrepreneur in the best sense
Being that Martin has been an avid art collector for many years it seems a rare missed opportunity to really get some insight from a qualified source. It would seem by his own admission a discussion of his book may have been premature considering it had been out such a short while. Given that Solomon has a history and ability to interview it again seems a missed opportunity that she should have acknowledged gracefully
Some people have a natural way of seeing things but like a muscle it only gets stronger with repetitive use.
I find articles like this both informative and a good source of thought on how other entrepreneurs seek funding.Good luck to this company
Why was this given negative numbers I was offering the guy some work. This is a strange system you have here
Excellent reply.I am one of those people who after making and losing can say this one will be much more sustainable. So I use young for some things, tech stuff, quick thinking. A little older for more mature and responsible work. And older still for their particular experience.Just do it!

Certainly a very interesting project and one in think we can

I was told I would be better off to hire a committed site engineer to build my site. The reasons for this is that it not an easy site to build and it is the business. It will forever be changing , adapting, and growing as our audience needs dictate and opportunities develop. So my question is what is the criteria I should use in bringing someone on board and who has the flexibility and foresight...
I don't know but I will tell you that if I had children almost all the decision I made would have been different and my life would have taken a different turn.Make what you want out of this
