Watched it with some friends on shrooms for the first time. Incredible. All the movies we watched after it that night felt bland and uninteresting.

Why wouldn't we want jobs to be automated exactly?
Re:Amino – The Public IPFS DHT Is Getting a Facelift on Tuesday October 03, 2023 @07:25AM (#37750391)
I think the point is that amino is just one public ipfs dht, so they renamed it, so that other public ipfs dhts can exist without confusion.
Re:Pijul: Version-Control Post-Git • Goto 2023 on Saturday August 12, 2023 @05:08AM (#37098376)
How can Linux be a niche use case for git if git was made as a version control system for Linux?
The thread continues and he actually got through all of them.

Re:The Animated Elliptic Curve on Monday July 03, 2023 @05:25PM (#36579065)
Isn't P always the same? Or is it shared before the exchange?

Edit: just looked it up and the base point for curve25519 is x=9 so no point in recovering it.

Or maybe they simply didn't want to risk personal money on some bet about the state of security at their job. I wouldn't take the bet even if thought the security was good.

Re:Helix: Post-Modern Text Editor on Sunday November 06, 2022 @04:40PM (#33497552)
This looks really cool, but I hope they go for the kakoune style commands like helix.
Re:Helix: Post-Modern Text Editor on Sunday November 06, 2022 @04:29PM (#33497431)
I've switched to helix, from neovim and I can say that I like the commands much more. It feels like they took vim commands and made them much more consistent. Plus the UX is so good, lsp out of the box and all. In neovim I always feelt like my config was missing something but helix feels good without even touching the config. Much recommended.
