"If debugging is the art of finding bugs, programming must be the art of creating them."
It is a legit Apple app, released alongside iOS 12. Apple bought the app called Workflow which they've made their own, rebranding it to Shortcuts.
What you’re wanting is CS 503!
Edit: Purdue’s CS 503.
Awesome! True the returns wont be in money, but they'll be in GAINS.

Just an obvious heads up, this is NSFW.

"And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" - Guy carrying POS device
I read this "robot-fun farm" and was very intrigued, haha.
Obviously they could add it - it wouldn't be hard. Just because it doesn't have feature X doesn't mean it's bad. At that point it's a conscious decision to exclude that feature. Poor performing mobile sites? That is something they could for sure address, especially with the engineering power they have, I agree.
Twitter's been around for 10 years—and maybe it's just my perception—but I feel like the tech. media has never done anything but hate on them. It's well-founded criticism at times, sure, but at what point does it become a loop of negative attitudes simply based on pre-existing negative attitudes? That's just my take on the whole thing. I personally have some confidence in Twitter and have nothing poor to say about their product / direction.
I took a very similar sounding course at Purdue (CS 503) and would second all of these sentiments.

I'm thinking of a service like 23andMe that instead takes 2 samples and outputs what the children of the two people would be like, what they'd be disposed to, what their traits might be, etc.I know this can be done at physician's offices to an extent (i.e., during family planning), but I was curious if there was anything cheap/simple out there available to the masses? Thanks!
I took the CS OS grad. course at Purdue last semester that taught OS principles using XINU. Overall, I think the OS is great. Used primarily for embedded systems (routers were the common example) it was simple, quite extensible and fun to learn.
I came here to post the same thing - an awesome listen.
I am enjoying the comments of people making counter-arguments to this post as they're probably the ones this article is directed towards.
Generic Example: "I'm not late to the morning meeting, I just not a morning person." No, sorry, you're still late.
You can see at least some of the open source frameworks they've used in the app's Settings > About Us.
It seems like board is kept as a grid and merely represented with three.js; look into the page's source and you'll see a GameBoard object as well as its logic.

If it seems super blurry, that's by design. I wanted to make it seem like you were viewing it from the 'depths of space' if you will. ;)

Hello, friends. I've built a few small projects in my time and as a PhD student I enjoy working on smaller projects outside of my research to keep my skills honed and to keep my exposure to other programming languages, ideas, etc. up. I currently have a list of project ideas I'd like to start; I'd like to choose one that is not only fun to work on but one that may have the potential to turn...
