Even though Darth Siddy may own the times, journalistic integrity is a point of pride in Britain. Not everywhere but in the Times, BBC, Guardian etc it certainly is.

He also owns Sky and that's our version of faux news. Sky is rubbish and complains the BBC is 'too big' and a 'monopoly'.

Why? Because the BBC is made of uhm. 'Win'. No adverts and an insane amount of programming for less than a couple of months of Sky (For Sky think Cable). Fantastic.

The article makes several good points but I'd have to disagree with the no overtaking rule. Taking the human out of the equation, vis a vis 'IRobot' style, where road travel is managed by computer seems like a more viable option in the long term. There have been several advances in this technology, from MIT especially (Google 'Self driving car', do you really expect me to divert from this tab for you?)

This article is patently useless. Let me sum it up for you in 3 sentances. Apple 3.0 sdk = could be good. Android sucks with viruses. The iphone is so superior to everything ever.

Could you elaborate on this? How extensively do you use it's combined features and what would you change about it? I'm currently living a life of no mobile phone whilst weighing up my options. I'm heavily skewed towards the G1 and need tipping either in its direction or the forthcoming n97.

Looks good and seems to have the full set of assumed features. I cant help the gnawing thought however of a blasé advertisement campaign with the catchphrase Idou2.

A double edged sword - creating methods of 'too easy' submission will most definitely lead (in my opinion) to a downgrading of quality. I've been on HN, not on this username, since the first link from Reddit when it was a few months old it's grown relatively slowly but has attracted a core of decent members who submit. However on the other hand it's necessary to improve quantity of submissions. I'm trying to stop going to Reddit & Digg altogether but it's hard when the update traffic is light years ahead.

You have to make a decision at some point - keep this place on the 'down low' with fewer submissions or break it up a bit.

Check out Freecycle.org. They are linked to Yahoo now so you need a yahoo account but i find the service quite good. However it isn't good enough to find something specific you are looking for - essentially it's hit and miss.
