Show HN: City Drones Game

https://citydrones.app/

I built a browser-based game where you fly a drone over photorealistic 3D recreations of world cities including DC, Paris, NYC, Tokyo and others. Modes include slalom courses, delivery runs, and free flight. It renders Google’s Photorealistic 3D Tiles in the browser with three.js, and works on desktop or phone.

Show HN: CueCut Teleprompter for videos, podcasts and Zoom calls

https://getcuecut.com/

I built this browser-based teleprompter app called CueCut. If you record promotional videos from your laptop, then give it a try. It also works when you are giving prepared speech over Zoom, Teams or Meet. Podcast mode lets up to four people record a conversation with a shared script playing over the teleprompter.

Could not find an easy way to do this. Connect agent (Muse) to Drive is opening up the whole thing. Please share steps if you can.

Ask HN: Allow agents access to cloud files with least privilege

Let's say I have a Google spreadsheet on my Drive that I want an agent like Muse to work on. Currently my options are: a) I can allow Muse to access my Drive b) Share the spreadsheet with edit privilege to anyone with link and give that link to Muse. Both of these are not least privilege access that I'm comfortable with. Ideally I should be able to share access to a file with an agent. Other...

My attempt at gamifying how it feels to fly drones over cities like London, Paris, NYC, SFO, etc. You can also choose to fly over your own neighbourhood instead. Please try it and share suggestions for improving the game play.

Update: added an insert-equation button in the toolbar of my MD Viewer
Re:Show HN: Markdown Viewer and Editor on Monday August 31, 2026 @11:36PM (#49517691)
Included a basic "insert math" option to insert LaTeX for math symbols, greek letters, relations & operators. If you work with Math equations regularly, try it out and share any suggestions for improvements.

Thanks for your suggestion. I use plain textarea so that Undo, Spellcheck work seamlessly. Monaco at 5MB+ is bigger than the whole app. Will instead try highlight.js for transparent overlay.

Ask HN: Ingenious or Fraud?

At my local 7-Eleven, the checkout counter person always records his own phone number for every sale and earns reward points. Left me wondering, is it a smart hack or fraud? What does the HN community think about it?

Ask HN: Why Read Books?

Obviously as a student, books are important. But later in life, as a source of entertainment, books can't compete with bars, chatting with friends, television, movies, sports, social media, all of which hit quicker. So, why should one read books?

Ask HN: Can AI help find citations and bibliography for an article draft?

While writing a scholarly article (for a journal, school project, etc), I need to provide appropriate citations and bibliography. While writing it, we use many sources and fail to keep a record of all the references. Once it is done, if the AI can read the article and find supporting and original reference for any fact or quote used in the article, it can save a great amount of time.

Ask HN: Is web3.0 or Blockchain tech likely to disrupt centralized marketplaces?

Centralized marketplaces often tend to optimize the profits of the corporation running it rather than the experience of the buyers & sellers participating in the network. Can new decentralized marketplaces be created using blockchain technologies, especially for digital services that do not have huge offline logistics? Can decentralized networks connecting cab drivers and commuters,...

May be. Just that Apple Watch is launching with two size options, whereas in case of other products that you mention, options were introduced years after the first launch of the products.

Not a single product - there are two different screen sizes to choose from.
The boy who cried the wolf is not a good selection imho. In it the boy lies just for fun, not to save his own skin, which is what the children in the experiment were trying to do by lying. In contrast George Washington knows the consequence of not lying (possible retribution from his father), yet chooses to do the right thing by sticking to truth.
