I'll keep an eye open, thanks
An agent running in a restricted sandbox helps fuck-all if the underlying prompts are sent to a mothership datacentre somewhere.
Care to help a brother with an invite?
I'm very happy with Migadu, although they just offer mail, nothing more.

That's "Half-Life 3 confirmed" levels of copium.

What constitution?
In case you don't know, /active is the "real" front page, where this post is still thriving.
Re:Americans Are Spending More Money to Drive Worse Cars on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @01:36PM (#50169859)
The Kia Niro and the Hyundai Kona are dramatically different vehicles visually. Same platform and EV drivetrain, sure. But to say it's a rebadge is incorrect.
Kickbacks and bribes mean fuck-all when your life depends on the thing you are buying arriving on time and doing what it says on the tin.
Re:Tesla Roadster on Saturday October 17, 2026 @06:22AM (#50129702)
How do you know it had that much downforce?
Re:Tesla Roadster on Saturday October 17, 2026 @06:19AM (#50129690)
I don't think the car in the video weighed even close to 1000kg.
Re:Fruits and Vegetables 50% Less Nutritious Than in the 1960s on Saturday October 17, 2026 @04:03AM (#50128961)
Supplements are cheap. You just wasted your money on a $50 bottle of urine colouring agent.

You can buy like a kilo of ascorbic acid on amazon for that money, which will last you multiple lifetimes probably.

Aren't we still waiting for the previous tesla roadster to be released?
Re:Someone on Torrent Sites Kept Fucking with My Sonarr on Friday October 16, 2026 @09:28AM (#50118150)
So thats what's been going on. I was wondering why all of a sardine my *arr stack started downloading executables.

I found the "ignore and blacklist executables" setting easily enough and moved on with my life.

But props to the OP for taking it this far!

What software? It's a pin you strike with a hammer to pierce the piezo speaker within.
Re:Citroen revives the 2CV for an electric age on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @04:01AM (#50068263)
Range Rover 4x4 is for when you have leaves on the estate driveway in autumn, or when you need to take the hounds grousing by the lake on weekends.

I don't thing anyone is _actually_ taking their range rover offroading in any "real" way.

Oh we can only dream!
Don't invade another country. Easy.
Re:I tried to move my notes out of Emacs. I failed. Again on Saturday October 10, 2026 @07:32AM (#50031855)
I find the overlap in the venn diagram of people who actually benefit from taking notes, and people who create/use note taking systems (obsidian, zettelkasten, bullet journal, remarkable etc) are vanishingly small.

Most "public" note taking looks more like performative art to me.

Just my opinion tho

Re:I tried to move my notes out of Emacs. I failed. Again on Saturday October 10, 2026 @07:28AM (#50031835)

Blasphemy!

English is not my native language, and by the time I posted this my English was all but used up for the day. But I think most understood what I was trying to say anyway, so I'm chill.

It is exceedingly difficult to convince someone of a lie, if their livelihood depends on believing that lie.
The South African judiciary and the dept. for international relations (who pushed the pro-russian motion) are two very very separate and sometimes-at-odds-with-one-another state bodies.

Do you have some sources that corroborate your claim that Judge Pillay is out of touch? What specifically is she out of touch about?

TIL about the acre-foot. Sometimes, you Americans are really funny with your units !
There is a middle ground here: Make this setting configurable, off by default, and with all the associated warnings of what will happen if you switch it on. Better yet, make it settable on each billable service. Keep Route 53 going, but halt and delete any VMs that exceed some limit.

Re:The Forgetful CPU (Linux on M4) on Saturday October 03, 2026 @03:19AM (#49942046)
Apple is fucking huge! It's like the biggest (and probably most valuable) consumer electonics brand.

Just a few short years ago apple was the most valuable company period.

How big do you want them to become?

Also, how much bigger will open harware really make them? How many people really care about linux on a mac?

I think that's the point of MAD. Bin Laden and his whole country would have been deleted off the face of the earth by everyone else's nukes if they tried shit like that.
Re:iPod of 2026 on Friday October 02, 2026 @03:16AM (#49930702)
You mean CF card? I upgraded my iPod classic by pulling out the old 1GB hard drive and replacing it with a 64GB CF card. The pinout is the same, and it works flawlessly.

I felt like a real hacker when I did it!

Don't forget the chinese peptide injection parties!
