I hope it gets us somewhere new. You can hope that and appreciate it hasn't yet though. (I'm not part of their IPO)
Attribution is very important. Though AI hasn't really done anything yet so it hasn't affected actual mathematicians yet.

Exactly. The first step towards learning from your mistakes is admitting to them.
For every 1 person who hates it, there's probably 50 that don't know or care what the problem is. They just decide that laptops or desktops are meh and use a phone for everything and are satisfied.
US companies are to blame and history will remember that.

Ukraine is winning. Defending your own territory is natural. Ukraine don't want a war, Russia can stop whenever they want it to stop. What is Russia's end game? look weak and easy to beat and have to threaten to use nukes to feel like a big man?
Re:ASML says it sold 'absolutely nothing' in Europe in 2026 on Sunday September 27, 2026 @10:40AM (#49867028)
Measured response. Remember that you don't want all out war. Support your allies, don't kill everyone in the entire world.

They had that treaty that they kinda forgot about already..

Then go private and get the same treatment as the USA. Or wait 16 weeks and get it for free.

Ukraine isn't in the EU and the USA has a duty to help Ukraine but doesn't because they (choose your favourite) [have been compromised by Russia] [are too weak] [can't afford it] [don't have enough weapons left because they used them helping Israel commit genocide] [are scared of losing votes for a pedophile] [all of the above]
Idiot
America and China cannot build ASML or anything close or they would have (China may soon). Europe is the same as ever. America relies on tech software which is getting replaced very quickly by AI. China relies on cheap labour which will get more expensive as they become more prosperous.

Not an accident, sell to the needful.

Lower wages but worth a lot more. Most CPUs are European designs. No one wants to be in the USA at the moment.

A lot of that comes from the wars that the USA started in the middle east.

Did you miss the bit about freedom of movement in the EU

I knew 2 engineers too. One worked in the UK for ARM and one worked for Intel. At that time, Intel were doing IA64 and ARM weren't that popular. Can't help but think something is wrong with USA engineering.

They're brainwashed, sadly it seems to also affect the smarter people too.

Huawei?
Less features, but that can be a good thing. Interface is nice, but its electron (but that's not really a bad thing).

Shopify admin is one (but also one that's better to just not use if you have that option)
Re:The impact of removing jQuery on our web performance on Tuesday August 16, 2022 @07:02AM (#32481320)
That's nice but when you load the actual universal credit login page it needs nearly 400kb of reactjs - not sure about after that, don't have an account..

Some (most?) of the other gov uk sites have megabytes of js on them.. eg. https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/testing?areaType=nat...

Written by Boris Johnson's sister too..
Originally I presumed this was an error importing Excel files and an upload file size limit..
