It's definitely a Microsoft owned domain and actively used - for example in Azure Active Directory (Entra).
It's all about the goddamned machines.. since F# is terse, they figure agent-generated F# code is cheaper.
Finally, an article about humans programming some computers. Thank you!
I wonder if this emboldens china to do the same to Taiwan..
For those of us in "enterprise" work farms, thin clients never really left. Citrix and related technologies are still massively used within any enterprise that has offshore/outsourced IT and software dev teams. It is still the most cost-optimal way to provide IT environments to vendor/non-FTE resources, and this is not going away any time soon. These devices can be incredibly convenient, it takes away the multiple man-years of effort involved in rolling out remote-access solutions.
Sorry but I've to agree with the other flippant response to this post. The whole idea of SQL is to avoid such imperative thinking, and SQL optimizers are incredibly good in most prominent DB engines. There are ways to hint and influence a certain query plan; but that's not to take away from the incredible convenience that SQL affords for writing adhoc queries.
If only google can buy some "search" technology for using in this app..

okay I'm curious - what are dirty systems programming skills, professor?
I have a pair, but haven't used too many gestures, since it seems somewhat limited. I was very surprised that you cant even accept/reject a call with a gesture. Just curious, why would you get buttons instead of sensors?

> For example, target running at 165-170bpm
Depends on age/health condition, 165-170 could be much higher for an older, less healthy person. But the strategy is right I think, with an adjusted bpm
There will be contact with an alien civilization, the kind of which we haven't ever thought about.
FWIW, Sharepoint (online) has had a Lists feature for decades now, and is as prevalent in Enterprises as Access was, if not more.
It just so happens to be that Teams is the flavor of the future. So more stuff from SharePoint comes into Teams. Not everything is a conspiracy.
Disclaimer: work there, but my views..
There are other ways to setup guard-rails in Azure - policies are one such feature:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/policy/tut...
They may not necessarily enforce spending limits - but it's possible to restrict provisioning of costly resources, or even whitelist resources that can be provisioned.
Almost every Cloud Foundation project nowadays involves setting up these guard-rails.
Workspaces uses PCoIP AFAIK

Winning Nethack games is just like any other hard accomplishment; you have to plan, know what's needed to win, and have patience. It's an unforgiving game, but winnable with no cheating. I have ascended a couple of times as a Valk and Wizard. I stopped playing a decade ago because it's very hard to play casually; you just get so involved. I am in awe of people who do mind-boggling conduct ascensions like the one here :

I suppose the time spent was worth it for them.

One of these is not like the others. I'm as big a Ronnie fan as any body else, but Snooker is less physical/athletic than any of the other sports in that list. I am not discounting the skill by any means, however - Ronnie in full form is unlike any other snooker player, perhaps except jimmy white.
