I opened the demo and said out loud "this is nuts!". Amazing job team.
It's been around since September 2019.

Whole lot of people defending literal Nazis in here.

Another tradition of divination in Iran is called fal-gush. You hide behind a fence and listen to the conversations of people passing by and use it to answer your questions.

Re:Ask HN: What is your commute like? on Wednesday March 08, 2017 @01:19PM (#13822265)
Seattle: Live 2 miles from work. Walk most days (45 minutes), which is longer than taking the bus (20 minutes). Usually take the bus if I'm tired or not trying to stand around in the rain.
Re:f.lux for iOS is no longer available on Thursday November 12, 2015 @05:50PM (#10556745)
I think you're correct. They were distributing an iOS app outside of the approved channels, which is explicitly called out near the very top of the Apple Developer License Program agreement:

Applications developed under this Agreement for iOS Products, Apple Watch, or Apple TV can be distributed in four ways: (1) through the App Store, if selected by Apple, (2) through the B2B Program area of the App Store, if selected by Apple, (3) on a limited basis for use on Registered Devices (as defined below), and (4) for beta testing through TestFlight.

I feel like it would work better if it took you to something like a shock website ;)
Exactly. This article really changed the way I thought about optimizing for slow network speeds: http://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/why-availability/
"third-trimester abortions" - Excellent straw man. How about his proposed personhood legislation? https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/s583?utm_campaign...

You can tell the same thing to the fathers, then.

The patriarchy affects all of us negatively. The sexism here is in favor of keeping women in the home and the men anywhere else (preferably in positions of power). Any person not falling into their respective gender role prescribed by these rules will be punished.
Re:We were wrong on Friday June 21, 2013 @12:07PM (#5918757)
I see no denial of the author's freedom of speech here. The author is free to host and fund their misogynist drivel on their own server, and Kickstarter doesn't seem to be denying that. Kickstarter has a business to run, and has some semblance of ethics, so it has chosen to refuse to offer its service to this content.

I'd love to read how you set that up. Any links you can point me to?

Or even share on Google+

… on second thought, I'm sure even Google knows they'd be preaching to the choir there.

Re:Flat UI colors on Sunday April 28, 2013 @05:33PM (#5622866)
It doesn't work for me on Safari Version 6.0.4 (8536.29.13) with no Flash installed on OS X Mountain Lion.

Javascript Console says: TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object (evaluating 'this.htmlBridge.style')

I'm guessing this is because I don't have flash installed.

Re:ping `curl whatismyip.akamai.com` on Saturday April 27, 2013 @08:05PM (#5619555)
I like `curl icanhazip.com` because it's cuter.

Would love it if source was released (or if somebody could point it out to me).

It's interesting that this joke comes the same day that The Verge declares "smell might be the next big thing in advertising" [1].

Did it make anybody feel weird when the browser started scrolling? Almost made me nauseated.
Er… have you used a Xbox 360 lately? Most of the dashboard is ads: http://images.eurogamer.net/2012/articles//a/1/5/2/9/2/2/6/A...
Re:Via introduces APC Paper: A $99 Android PC on Thursday January 17, 2013 @08:47AM (#5072577)
Case is "Recycled pressed cardboard with high-grade aluminum", so I'm guessing the paper is just on the outside of the real case.
Re:The Next SoundCloud Becomes SoundCloud on Tuesday December 04, 2012 @09:34AM (#4871046)
Another cool thing about ▶ and browser tabs happens when you open up Soundcloud in a tab and start playing, then open up another Soundcloud tab and hit play. The other tab stops!
