Precisely what I was thinking... I'm probably going to jump on to this... do a 2-4 week hack at it and launch it. If anyone wants to partner, let me know (I can design and play full stack- either one).
Let me know what the domain is, I may be interested.
Decent xcution, but rather slow :/
Wow, congrats! Thats a crazy struggle you have to go through- surely must pay off- just keep at it!
I hate to say this but... is there a tmux for Windows :0
Pretty cool idea, but i'm not so sure about the $0.99 pricing, seems pretty undervalued/cheap.
Dono what part of Canada you've been to, but they are all over the place in Toronto.
Do you know the process they went about in selling everything? I'm in a startup and we may be thinking of this too, perhaps approaching competitors. But still unsure about it.
Well tbh, the question is really how would you go on about knowing about failed startups. Especially not the big ones, since typically no one covers a failed startup that no one has heard about and they just go out without even a puddle in the water.
http://rackspace.comUsing them now after switching from mediatemple. They seem pretty decent, their support is great, 24/7 live chat support.
About 2 weeks, my startup was targeted to students at a specific location.
Not much marketing was done; besides facebook and flyer distribution.
What differentiates them to Twilio and Tropo?
How is Nexmo compared to Tropo?
Yup, i'd switch to either Stripe or WePay- tbh, being based in Canada... Stripe/WePay guys make it seem like we're foreigners o_O
Would like to know more about this- i thought the whole point of it was that you didn't have to deal with PCI...
Edit: i just checked;
https://www.paypal.com/pcicompliance
It looks like Paypal takes care of PCI compliance only if you use; PayPal Website Payments Standard, Email Payments, or Payflow Link. Otherwise you're on your own.
If you have companies like Facebook using it... surely you'd think PHP is on the right path, no?

from the pictagram.me dept.
Interested in the answer too.
But i don't think there is.
Problem is with users who don't have a paypal account, when they are taken to paypal payment page- they see this big login box and small button under all that for 'other payment options.'
Alternatively, you can build your own and save some $$- that's what we're doing.
Wow, you have a real story before launching Eureka.
I can't really judge the app itself cause i don't have an iPhone, but from a UI perspective- it looks below par. Maybe its time you get a designer on your team? Which is where i might be of assistance...
Are you still running this alone?

Never heard of it, but looks like a really neat project though!
I think it has potential, though not surprisingly quite a few sites have recently launched with similar objectives.
