What Linux distribution do you use?
In the current environment where there has been some disruption in the space (ChatGPT), ideas about what the future could hold are particular useful to help form your own opinion of what could come in the future.

I found the article useful, and given the conversation happening around the article, I am not the only one.

Are you talking about errand-runner, or something else? Are you planning on open sourcing it?
Re:Show HN: A ChatGPT TUI with custom bots on Saturday April 08, 2023 @05:30PM (#35497828)
Personally I find the idea of having a Bot Manager quite interesting. I imagine future APIs could be boys that talk to each other, and this Bot Manager would allow humans to join the conversation

How would you use it?

I built such voice assistant for myself, but found that audio is a limiting medium.

Railscasts helped me learn Ruby on Rails during my commute. Thanks Ryan!

Re:Text-Only Social Network on Sunday July 12, 2020 @07:28PM (#23815612)
I want this to succeed. There is something pure and calming about the idea.

Design wise though, I suggest making the content (text written by users) easier to read / scan.

Right now, the usernames are more prominent than the comments.

Have you tried putting the username and timestamp on the same line as the content?

Also maybe use grey colors for less important text.

Do you remember why you moved away from Miro? (I am developing a whiteboard software)

They should cut out the sensationalism, they don’t need it to get people approval, their mission is their best asset.
Thanks for this point of view. Very insightful and made me understand Blizzard perspective better.
Re:Amazon Echo Loop on Wednesday September 25, 2019 @04:52PM (#21075320)
Currently I use a ring that allows me to pay like a credit card: I love it (I live by the beach so I prefer not to have a wallet with me).

Being able to query google from a ring is attractive to me.

I am surprised by the fact the speaker is in the ring, but it means you can potentially receive “private” information from the ring without other hearing.

I imagine people whispering to their rings in the bus. I think the hand motion you have to do from speaking to listening might make you look like a fool (google glass)

What do you mean with culture boost?

How do you see CBT could help teams?

You have a healthy attitude towards competition.
The guys behind Todoist have a tool to solve this. I haven't tried it myself: https://twist.com/?lang=en

Can you expand a bit please? I feel there is some depth here, but I don't grasp it.

So much cynicism in this thread.
Re:Show HN: Mastering Modular JavaScript on Monday September 24, 2018 @08:56PM (#18062743)
Lots of interesting ideas in this book. Thanks!

My only grip is I wish there would be more examples: when you talk about state especially.

Re:Show HN: Mastering Modular JavaScript on Monday September 24, 2018 @08:53PM (#18062735)
I can't believe you are complaining that the author is giving you an alternative to just paying.

You can either read the book on github (thanks!) or have a better formatted version in exchange to some marketing technique.

I think it is fair.

This is an entrepreneurial community, we should rush to pay this author to support his efforts, rather than criticize his attempts to get something out of providing his work for free.

Shame on you.

Or can I talk to you about joining your project?
BSTRhino, would you consider open sourcing this so that I can contribute to the development?
Congratulations to Asana.

Let's celebrate their success rather than criticize their software.

Everybody here would probably be very happy to have created a company like this. Why be so negative?

Check https://weekplan.net it shines for individual use.
