Why should users trust you?

Ask HN: Is Figma's Quality Dropping?
Has anyone else noticed and grown tired of Figma’s increasing bugs and instability? Over the past six months or more, the product quality seems to have steadily declined. Performance lags are much more common, bugs seem to pop up everywhere, and the UI3 update felt like a major disappointment.I can’t help but feel that the decline started when Figma announced its transition from Skew (their...

Ask HN: AI Image Organizing App
I take lots of photos but have a very hard time organizing them. Are there any good desktop apps that solve this problem with AI? Ideally, I would like my photos to be tagged, sorted and the ability to search individuals.I use Google and Apple Photos but I don't want to upload every single image on the cloud, so I'm looking for an alternative that works on device ideally.
But then I saw the price tag, and that it’s only 190 ppi. That killed it immediately for me. I hated the first few generations of Kindle because of the low resolution display. I think it’s unbearable in an e-ink display. And the price is a bit outrageous for what it offers..
Ask HN: Freelancers, how do you successfully expand to new markets?

As for photography, I'm not sure if it can entirely replace cameras. Maybe not for the next few years, but if a genius new way of easily capturing your face structure is mainstreamed and you have a digital avatar of your face, it could actually happen. In that case you could just enter some prompts for the scene and other details and it would generate a perfect image you couldn't even take on your own in any way.
Besides, neocons and evangelists are actively pushing for it.
It’s closer than we think it is, yet people won’t believe this because the media hasn’t mentioned anything yet.
Once it has a branding we will already be living the global war.
Not exactly the impression I’d like to see when using a password manager. And I’m a UI/UX designer in case you wonder…
I understand that it wasn't working anymore, and I agree that a change was much needed but the way it was dealt with and what was put into its place are things I do not condone. To this day, Turkey's problems stem from that enforced, makeshift and conflicting foundation that are incompatible with the society.
Thank you for the kind exchange of ideas.
Your claim conflates "Western values" with scientific progress, and that's simply inaccurate. Let's disentangle scientific advancement from cultural hegemony. Science belongs to everyone, regardless of culture or religion. Generalizations like yours perpetuate harmful stereotypes, and we need to move beyond such outdated views.
Life would be so much easier if the anti-Islam rhetoric in Turkey were to be conducted straightforward and not in a hidden fashion with lies. If it was straightforward, the debate would have ended 100 years ago.
Turkey is one of the few countries in the world that has these pitiable individuals who despise their history and live in their own artificial "reality".
And the only answer they have is even more stupid arguments that directly connect to current day politics.
You may argue and say why compare with Adobe? You would be right in that case, but it has been the gold standard in design for many years and set expectations on how design applications behave.
Ask HN: Is Venture Capital Shifting Away from Software and Tech?
I feel like there is a shifting trend of venture capital that moves away from the tech industry and from software engineering. I wanted to get a sense of the collective wisdom here.- Have you also noticed this trend? - If so, could you elaborate on which areas these investments are being redirected to? - What are some of the factors driving this change, if it exists?
