I forgot about functions!

I always thought that everything from Sass was pretty much ported over by now.

Re:GLM5 Released on Z.ai Platform on Thursday February 12, 2026 @06:12AM (#46987335)
It's available in antigravity.
Apparently James Dean loved the book from an early age, so guessing it must have had some popularity in the USA.

NSW here, I quit mine a few months back by email after being a member for 5 years. The reason being they increased the monthly fee from $65 in 2020 to $100 in 2023.
Re:The Magical Japanese Art of Luggage Forwarding on Friday October 27, 2023 @05:25AM (#38036339)
I was going to mention this as a non US resident.

The Disney travel agent told me to print these labels out in Australia and just attach them to the luggage. Then we just had to hop on a bus when we landed in Florida.

Shame they don't do this anymore by the sounds of it. I was completely sceptical of the whole Disney experience but it all went so smoothly.

Maybe not the best example there, known or not - Plato's influence on us today is pretty heavy.

There are even strong theories connecting early Christianity directly to Plato.

Sounds perfect, like the embodiment of the cherry blossom and its inevitability death after a beautiful short life.
Re:Install Windows the Arch Linux Way on Thursday September 21, 2023 @09:18AM (#37597185)
This.

I have used the script and it pretty much lines up with the 'arch' way and I believe it is still a good introduction to linux.

There is a section at the new Ghibli Park in Aichi prefecture which showcases some of these foods.

Re:Moving Fast with the Core Vim Motions on Wednesday June 14, 2023 @07:46PM (#36334477)
My favourites are A and I, finding them easier to reach for over $ and ^.

I find myself stalling sightly whenever I use f, while I try to pinpoint the character to jump to. It's the only motion I am not fluid with.

Re:Introducing "Implement DNS in a Weekend" on Friday May 12, 2023 @11:02AM (#35917301)
On Firefox mobile, I get some element overflow blocking the speech bubble. Maybe a flex wrap gone wrong?

Just a heads up incase Julia is reading :)

Re:Show HN: Neovim Plugin for ChatGPT on Wednesday March 08, 2023 @09:50PM (#35077809)
Do you mean for the plugin creator or as a user?

I tried to build a saas app which generates logos and I had to upgrade.

Using chatgpt prompt on the free tier, I sometimes dont get responses due to volume of requests(I believe free tier gets culled in these cases?). Or sometimes its just extremely slow.

In this case, once you setup with your api key, its free to use inside neovim.

There is also react server components now that tries to solve some of the island architecture pitfalls.
Re:New(ish) command line tools on Tuesday April 12, 2022 @10:01PM (#31010441)
Any terminal based solutions for Postman/Insomnia/Nightingale? I am just using curl and text files for api testing.

Re:State of JavaScript 2020 on Saturday January 16, 2021 @09:13AM (#25802247)
There has been some interesting tooling being written in Rust, swc[1] compiles very fast. Not quite production ready but getting there.

I usually look through a site like IMDB[1] who regularly updates what new releases are coming out on services.

Re:What it feels like to be in the zone as a programmer on Sunday August 20, 2017 @11:23AM (#15058764)
I started using guarana tablets to help stay 'super' focused, but only when required. I find it helps me a lot with productivity, often 3+ hours of optimum output. No side effects, only other supplements I take regularly are fish oil and I dont drink coffee or energy drinks.

Re:Removing Edge Magazine DRM on Sunday January 22, 2017 @07:17PM (#13458625)
Those early years up to 2002 when the budget cuts occurred were some of the best video game journalism and industry insight I had come across.

It just wasnt the same after the core group of writers and editors left.
