Right. These days sdk or software doesn't matter much when I can easily vibe code stuff (which is what I have been doing). No matter the board, give me adb and watch me fully use it in an hour.

Better be $10-$15 to be of any use. There are MANY much better offerings now. Rockchip/Allwinner etc.

Cloudflare is exclusively what I use for any infra work I do (and I do a lot for various projects and startups of my own/others I advice). If something doesn’t fit cloudflare primitives, I try to rethink my design before reaching for gcloud etc.
They even do docker containers now which is great but durable objects and workers are game changer for me.
The easy nextjs deployment is also my go-to now that vercel isn’t my preferred vendor.

VB6 was my first "language" back in high school and how I earned money ie. making software for local folks. It was great!
That and Flash is what I miss, we don't have the tools anymore. Lost in hunt for "optimal" or "responsive" apps.

by the time the battery wears out on this one, the speakers are also busted anyway (infact it already is true for mine). So battery replacement isn't an issue for me, the device will be worthless by the time I am done with it.
why would I want a replaceable battery?
My airpods have been working fine for 6 years now. Isn't THAT better for the environment?

The creators of Beni seem to have promised that the platform will be open (including sim2real parts of Beni).
I have ordered Beni for my family. It's sturdy and more practical for careless fun.
