Cool website!

If I understand correctly you help me to actually read the articles I saved unlike Instapaper/Pocket that only allow me to dump them?

What are the dynamics you developed to make me read them? (I use Pocket)

Hello HN!

I’m happy to share my book with you. It’s goal is to help UX/product designers to prepare for job interviews, practice their skills and build designers hiring process at their companies.

I believe there is not enough resources for designers to prepare for job interviews (unlike for engineers/PMs). Often designers don’t know what to expect from the interview. On the other side, many businesses don’t know how to evaluate designers efficiently, especially their first design hire.

I decided to share my experience of hiring designers at WeWork and my first step was sharing publicly the exercises we used during interviews (https://blog.prototypr.io/product-design-exercises-we-use-at...). The feedback I received was great. After talking to both designers and employees I decided to write this book that will help both sides to improve their skills, create better expectations and eventually build better products.

You can read more about the story behind the book here: https://productdesigninterview.com/story.html

Thank you!

Fixed! Thanks!

Oh, thanks! I'm hosting it on DigitalOcean. Honestly I'm designer and I worked all this Meteor / Telescope stuff together by myself and not sure how should I respond to the performance question :D How can I measure it so it'll be helpful for you?

You're right, I'm using the default Telescope functionality/behaviour right now, but it's something I'd definitely implement in future, thanks!

I'll try to create one. Your can follow a curated Twitter-account of Nomadler in a meanwhile - https://twitter.com/nomadler

Yes, I'm an active user of Designer News and Product Hunt, so I've got a lot of inspiration from them (mostly Designer News).

Nomadler build using Telescope and their tagline on the website is "Build and customize your very own Hacker News, Reddit, or Product Hunt!" :)

thank you very much, going to make a deploy once HN traffic will calm down! :)

Do you mind to take a screenshot please? I'll appreciate it very much!

Why?

Check out the top, I'm sure you'll find something interesting.

If you're web-developer try Top posts > CSS. Also try top stories from GitHub and top-Medium posts (they are a lot of tech-realted and not necessary design-realted topics).
