Some comments including what some have already pointed out :
- Naans are not usually made in Indian homes. They are much more common in restaurants. They are also not considered to be as healthy as rotis or phulkas.
- Indians (mostly North Indians) eat rotis, chapatis , phulkas (basically an inflated chapati) or parathas.
- A well made phulka or paratha can be absolutely delicious.
- There are many kinds of parathas and the food has long ago spread south where they have their own kinds.
- I don't think dosas or appams can be considered breads. I think they're closer to crepes.
- There seems to be much missing from this list including some Goan breads (can't recall the names) and some other South Indian types.
The saudis are also currently using cluster munitions against yemenis.
Seems crass to do this so soon. I don't know what the reasoning is behind this and I hope they change their minds.
Brown man here, 40 years old. I've used AirBnB extensively in the last year or two and have never faced a problem like this (or at least i'm pretty sure I've not).
The comp C faq is a good place once you have a little bit of C experience.

Hi Pieter,
I did a small PoC for my team using zeromq a few years ago. The performance was way above other related systems.
Thank you for your contributions.
Nah. I think there are more than a few of us around. I mostly avoid using my smart phone and I don't have a data plan. I had to buy it because I was travelling abroad and it was a light device I could use to communicate and take photos with. Most of my work is done on my laptop.
Thanks that was a good summary :-)
Thanks for posting this. I think it would be valuable to the general tech community to hear your opinion and experiences. Please consider writing an article or giving a talk at a future conference.
Yeah, this kind of thing will bring out the conspiracy nutters in droves.
I think these emotional issues may be solved by making them look less human and more like machines.
Nice! interesting read. I searched online for some photos and more information and there is some confusion between actual blue people and people who turned blue due to some chemical (silver colloid) action.
Also, there seems to be a lack of trustworthy photographs of people with the inherited severe methemoglobinemia condition. I searched for about 5-6 minutes and couldn't find a good source.
I agree with Stephen. A while ago I came to the conclusion that widespread use of social media such as FB, tumblr and Twitter (especially twitter), has caused a severe degradation in public discourse and conversation.
Take hard copies of those pictures and also consider having them transferred to film/negative. (I wonder if there will be a demand for this in the future)
I recommend AeroPress. Easy to setup, easy to use and easy to clean. Makes a great brew.
I'm surprised the Soviets let her go. Wonder why they did that ?
Could it have been a thick stray cloud combined with some light reflection/refraction effects from the ground or maybe stars/planets in the background ?
Could you elaborate on what Ed said to you ?
I find it strange the author of the article seems to imply this is a surprising find. Humans have been slaughtering each other for all sorts of reasons since the beginning of known history. This merely is another confirmation.
Thats odd, I distinctly remember a huge liking and trust for the BBC (especially radio) among the older Indian folk - middle class and above.
While I don't really care much either way - why is this on HN news ? Its not really technology related.... even tangentially (it seems).
Have been playing AoE on and off for a while now. Still like the game. Wish I had more time to play it.
It has certain playing qualities that hold one's interest over time. Even when compared to other more modern games.
For one this is old hat, from way back.
And you're right that you have no idea, because since then thousands of folks have cut their OS teeth on Linux kernel development. (I'm one of them).

Physical books still trump e-books for me, though I use both.
There is something nicer about a physical book which my e-reader is not able to replicate or replace.
I'm not terribly surprised. I stopped using Groupon 3-4 years ago after a couple of bad experiences, watching the CEO in an interview on TV and also learning about how some small businesses were negatively affected.
I think there is a class of business ideas that may seem good in the beginning but eventually fail for various reasons.
