I have no problems with talented physicists being granted visas

Re:The Mafia may be keeping fentanyl out of Italy on Friday September 25, 2026 @07:27AM (#49843057)
If its cheap enough to be worth letting a few customers churn, then profits will be positive
I thought 3rd party cookies were blocked on like every major browser, since like forever ago. Is Chrome still allowing this?

Re:Record-High 89% in U.S. Say Government Corruption Widespread on Saturday September 05, 2026 @07:58AM (#49575701)

Re:How accurate have Ed Zitron's AI skeptic predictions been? on Tuesday September 01, 2026 @07:08PM (#49529524)

Re:The Teaser Period: Why the AI Boom Is Hitting a Reset Wall on Tuesday September 01, 2026 @01:14PM (#49524893)

Re:A Preview of DuckDB v2.0 on Monday August 17, 2026 @11:27AM (#49332606)
We use DuckDB WASM with parquet to build dashboards in-browser. It's cool to be able to write SQL directly in a browser and not have to rely on REST/Graphql/etc to access the data layer.
Re:France to ban unsolicited telemarketing calls on Tuesday August 11, 2026 @10:02AM (#49258556)
Allow people to charge 25 cents to accept calls from unknown numbers.

I believe iOS has a feature to force unknown numbers to declare themselves before connecting, which is less good but still a thing.
