thanks for all the great insite into the numbers on your site.
its amazing to see an indie marketplace actually take off. congrats to you and your hard work.
Hi, thanks for the interest.
map editing currently has to be done by editing the html when you download the template.
Sections can be deleted under the sections tab ( drag them onto the bin ).
looks damn fine,
less dependencies would be an added bonus
interesting. doesn't seem to be anything non standard in the leave this page code
$(function () {
window.onbeforeunload = function () {
return 'Template not saved. Changes will be lost';
};
});
Has anyone else seen the leave this page stuff blow up? its the browser that handles it.
What browser/version did it blow up under?
what the hell, i tried a few images from unplash and it worked flawlessly. how does this magic work?
i already follow the places that you get these photos from ( unsplash and the others you have listed on your site ).
Of course they provide them absolutely free without any restrictions.
It would be cool if you can add more value as the middleman to compel me to subscribe. not sure what that might be of course seeing as the images are essentially already curated by others on their sites.
Perhaps some original content as well would make a difference.
kinda cool. whats the advantage over css timeline animations?
does that mean that lack of scientific proof means it is real? is that what they are trying to get at?
i was expecting it to be a little like www.singlepage.guru but for wordpress. but i cant seem to get it going.
got a link to articles on it?
we used this on a project. it works pretty well.
a few obvious, but ok issues are.
1) if the person uses a computer where they dont have access to their email its a problem
2) the person forwards the link to others to use
3) sometimes emails get delayed
lastly a less obvious issue
4) people expect to use username/password, which means most of the users we had, had to be educated on how to log in. even when it clearly said what they had to do.
wouldnt surprise me. the state and the cab companies here have it locked down so no one can muscle in on their action.
the post got me because i just signed up.
I live in melbourne. it is not possible to get a cab on a friday or saturday night. trial run coming up tomorrow

I've got an MVP html template builder that has initial feedback from HN and reddit/startups. The feedback has been very good. however there are hints that the users see the product differently to what i intended.I intended the product to produce single page websites templates (like templates you get from themeforest), but the audience so far has seen it as a launch website (like...
thanks for the praise :) putting out MVP launch pages is what its great for. The vision we have is to have it being a single page website construction set, so not just launch pages, but for anything that lives in single page world.
yep definitely. mailchimp can already hook into the existing subscription panel/section. But yeah great idea to expand it out so that you don't have to dig into the html.

Techcrunch has a startup listed as having 500k users . This begs believe for me.http://techcrunch.com/2014/05/06/smore-raises-1-7m-seed-round-for-its-single-page-website-builder/If the figures are real, how on earth does a startup get those sorts of figures in a market that seems expensive to market to
perhaps not exactly what you asked for , but my sideproject might be useful. it spits out a static template that looks quite nice.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sounds like you need full control over your css,js and html
Thanks for the reply Jacke,
As far as I am aware, they are not the same product at the moment.
landinggear.me makes landing page templates, so it is more like getting a themeforest template or bootswatch template

Here's the idea behind our MVP:Web company landing pages almost all follow the same format - single page, a series of panels, each panel with a couple of key selling points, a price list table, contact form. Each panel has either an image as a background or a different color.So our idea is to create a service focused purely on building landing pages that follow this format. Quick and easy.So...
bcoinex.com
its an automated bitcoin trading bot. The bot actually does make a profit for the customer, all be it a small one.
Its had about $1000 of purchases in the last month. Which is also how long its been running.
one day they will stop thinking about windows only.
Just an update on the product launch.
I've got a handful of sales coming in which is great. Mostly driven by a post on the bitcoin forum.
People there are certainly raising the trust/hacking issue. I am being open and honest with them and trying to communicate in a responsive manor. Maybe honesty, responsiveness and time will be the key.
