My biased opinion is that Lovable is easier to do everything from publish, custom domain, payment, backend deployment, email, connecting to any SaaS tools, as well as git-sync. In the browser, and powered both by GPT Sol + Fable (depending on what you ask for).

Disclaimer: I'm the founder and built the initial version for Lovable.

Someone showed this to me, as I don't have access to sora2 API, but it's pretty crazy.

Is this the future of entertainment lol?

Lovable (https://lovable.dev) | Stockholm + NY + London + hybrid | Full-Time | Product+Research Engineers

We’re a small team caring deeply about building a product that move people’s lives. Currently, 70,000 new apps are started every day with lovable, many of them becoming real businesses that earn people’s livelihood.

You would work with a highly talent-dense team of previous founders, CTO:s, Physicists, with many problems to solve as we are scaling towards reaching $100m ARR faster than any other startup.

We’re looking for:

- Product Engineers

- Research Engineers

Read more and apply at: https://lovable.dev/careers

I think being skeptical is healthy here. Most Figma-to-code tools just handle UI, but let me share what makes this different.

The secret sauce is combining Builder.io's clean code output (they're the best at Figma conversion) with Lovable + Supabase ability to add real application logic through AI. You're not locked into just what comes from Figma - you can build actual functionality around it.

Re: code quality - it generates proper semantic JSX in TypeScript, and follows best practices. You can check any output yourself and even export the full codebase if needed.

Don't take my word for it though - we have a free tier specifically for testing complex scenarios. What kind of functionality would you want to try? Happy to point you to similar examples or connect you with users who've built production apps.

Show HN: Turn Figma into working apps without coding (Designer –> Production)

https://www.builder.io/blog/lovable-builder

Hey HN! Last summer I was struggling to get my Figma designs shipped - stuck waiting for dev bandwidth and trying to hand off every iteration. Got really frustrated and decided to do something about it.Today we're launching a native integration between Builder.io and Lovable that lets designers directly convert Figma designs into production-ready apps. No code, no BS, just a working app you can...

heard many that were just about to demo lovable apps when this happened..
Founder here:

Not part of the report was that getting intro to people on Github significantly helped accelerate things.

Any questions about Lovable infra for those curious generally – happy to answer.

(also, we're hiring senior platform engineers in Europe to build the first European AI outlier success story:)

Hopefully this is not bad intent by Github.

We're working on getting in touch with anyone there. Would appreciate if anyone on HN knows how to escalate and could DM me who I could talk to.

We're being directed to fill a form but it says they are on Christmas holidays and it might delay...

thanks!
thanks while1
Well yes if it's a web app I agree.

We don't do native mobile apps complex data processing etc. But it's quite straightforward to connect the app to existing backends deployed anywhere.

For those who always ask... the name (Lovable) reference is to the software the AI creates.

Me + team will be here and answer any questions about the product coming hours!

Show HN: An AI that reliably builds full-stack apps by preventing LLM mistakes

https://lovable.dev

Hey HN! Previous CERN physicist turned hacker here. We've developed a way to make AI coding actually work by systematically identifying and fixing places where LLMs typically fail in full-stack development. Today we're launching as Lovable (previously gptengineer.app) since it's such a big change. The problem? AI writing code typically make small mistakes and then get stuck. Those who tried know...

Re: on Thursday October 10, 2024 @12:03PM (#41800254)
I found this livestream on youtube that currently has 300k viewers.

In the livestream chat "Elon Musk" is commenting with a link to https://trump-debate.events which is a crypto scam.

It's clearly a deepfake of Elon if you listen closely, but it's quite well done so I imagine a lot of people think it's real.

This is quite crazy.

Is this code available in ChatGPT's training data?

Tried hard, couldn't find any similar code.
