In my experience, it is also very difficult. I’m playing tennis for more than a year and it has been almost impossible to make friends. People meet to play and barely shared some words. Same in Yoga classes. In my view, it depends on the personality. For some people is easy to engage, for others it is not.

I cannot agree more. It is really depressing and terrific reading so many people justifying all these violent acts. Is is inconceivable how we have come to normalize repression and violence against others.
Re:Show HN: Make Audio Loops Online on Tuesday January 06, 2026 @04:26PM (#46519041)
It looks great. A couple of features that would make it truly useful are currently missing:

- Save/Load and Import/Export functionality.

- The ability to edit loops after they have been added.

Nicely done! I really like it! Tested breakrs. I'll try the MCP.

It works great!! I Like it!
It appears to be related to Polymath.

Polymath is effective at isolating and extracting individual instrument tracks from MP3s. It works very well.

But that’s precisely the point. If there are new adversaries, new obstacles, it’s essential to work toward becoming stronger, more independent, more prepared and building greater unity among states.

I agree with you, things are looking bad... Today, I'm just trying to be positive. Tomorrow, maybe not ...

As a European, I’m trying to see the positive side of this situation. Here are a few thoughts:

- It appears that Democrats are often seen as part of an "elite," which makes it difficult for people at home to relate to or understand their message. A full reset might be needed to bridge this gap.

- Europe has long been under the shadow of the United States. Perhaps this could be a good start toward greater independence for Europe.

Ask HN: What is your opinion about DMN?

Hi!I work as a software engineer in a company where the Product team always asks for business rules to be included everywhere. I would like to start using an standardized way of doing this. I'm aware of DMN (Decision Model and Notation) the main driver of which seems to be Camunda and some other products like Drools. I have also read about https://github.com/dsntk, it seems a starting...

Nobody talk about doskey. When I started working in windows I missed my aliases that I had in linux. Doskey is a great tool to mimic the functionality. Some example of my aliases:

  edit="%EDITOR%" $\*
  kbs=ag $\* --file-search-regex "\.md$"  "C:\Users\my\Dropbox\MyNotes"
  pg_start="C:\My Program Files\Scoop\apps\postgresql\current\bin\pg_ctl" start -D "C:\My Program Files\Scoop\apps\postgresql\current\data"
I load the file with the aliases like this:

  doskey /macrofile=C:\Users\me\doskey.cmd
Anybody knows the main differences with https://cloudevents.io/?

Feature request: It would be nice to allow adding entries by hand. There are sites that avoid at all cost to let browsers to remember passwords.
